"Why?" A girl shouted at a boy that sighed.

"Because she's the one for me. She loves me."

"So do I!" The girl stood up and screamed at him. "I loved you for ten years! Ten years, Jace!"

"And I never loved you."

The harsh truth weighted on the girl with tears running down her face. This boy in front of her was her crush. Someone who she loved for ten years. Someone who she would have died for. In order to stand out to him, she changed. She studied hard, not sleeping for several days. Just to be able to stand next to him. 

But what did she get. Nothing. 

"Adria, please understand that I never loved you and never will in the way you want me to." 

A girl suddenly came and stood next to the boy. She took one look at the sobbing Adria and bursted into tears. 

"I'm not fit for you, Jace. Adria is...let her stand by your side."

"I don't need your pity!" Adria snapped.

Slap!

"You...you hit me? Jace, in the 10 years I've known you, you never hit anyone." Adria stood, stunned. Jace, the person she loved so much had slapped her. 

"Only because you don't know your place." He said ever so coldly. 

"Karen...don't cried! You're the one that I love and only you are worthy of me!" He said in the soft voice that Adria yearned for but it wasn't for her this time. It was for Karen. 

"No...I can't do anything!" Karen broke down into tears. 

"Karen..." The boy added in a softer voice. But the Karen sobbed and ran. 

"Karen!" He shouted. He took one cold look at Adria, the girl who sobbed at his side, the girl he thought of as a friend, the friend that ruined his life with Karen. 

"Are you happy now?" He screamed. "You will never have my love."

"Karen!" He chased after her, leaving Adria alone in the sudden pouring rain.  

"So I'm the villain? I'm the one that did this?" Adria asked to no one in particular. 

She then laughed hysterically. 

"All I did what love you, Jace, and that's the biggest mistake I've made in my life."

Hi y'all! This is AliceChen1234. How did you think about the sneak peek? 

I have gotten tired of only hearing the female lead's story and how the mean villainous always came in between her and the male lead. I mean, the story is always made for the male lead and the female lead to fall for each other. No one really listens to the Villainous's side. They have to try and break the relationships of the couple which makes them fall harder in love. Sometimes, it's fate and others it's just love.

Because love blinds people.
