Lost In The Way of Water (Aonung x OC)

"Slow down your heart beat and breathe in, breathe out" Tsiryea gestures "remember what I taught you"

I nodded

We were on a big rock to practice my breathing. I am getting better at breathing little by little but my diving and swimming however still need practice. The most I've learned is to stay afloat.

"This is an ilu I'll teach you how to ride, gently make the bond and think swim, be careful and hold on tight" she says

I made the bond and held on tight as the ilu started swimming. I slid off within a second from the amount of force between the water and I. I floated to the top and heard laughing, it was Aonung and his friends. I  made an attempt to swim back to where I was before.

"Even babies can ride ilu's better than you" he laughed

"Aonung" Tsireya scolded "she's trying"

"She still can't swim" he chuckled

"Mother says you need to help this time or you'll be punished Aonung" she crossed her arms

Aonung rolled his eyes and made his way twords us as his friends follow.

"You need to bend your legs more, when you dive you need a good position it's very important" he says as I got back on the ilu

I fell off again once the ilu started swimming and herd them laugh. I tried to stay afloat while he made his way towards me.

"I guess babies can ride ilu's better than you, and swim better too" he chuckled wrapping my arm around his neck and swam back.

Once I could feel my feet touched the sand I un-wrapped my arms and pushed him away.

"Your so mean" I walked out the water

"Tselenaum" Tsireya called out

I picked up my basket kept walking till I found a private spot under a tree. I sat down and started weaving to distract myself. It was nice and quiet just the way I like it.

"Hey look its the purple freak" I herd a voice "hey purple freak whatcha doin"

It was Ateyo and his buddies.

"Let me try" Talion took my loom "why is the loom so small, you can't make anything out of this"

I tired grabbing it back but he Palmed my forehead as I did. They laughed

"If you want it back say the magic word" he teased

I pushed his hand off my forehead trying to get my loom back.

"I don't have it Altaoi has it" he threw my loom to Altaoi

"No Ateyo has it" he threw it

"No I don't" he threw it up into the trees

"oh look she's going to cry" Telion laughed

I stick my tounge out at them and started climbing.

"Can she even climb that far" they laughed

After struggling a bit I tried reaching for my loom.

"Tselenaum" I herd Tsireya call out "come down you are going to get hurt"

I look down and she was with Rotxo. I was so close to getting my loom. The branch I was on snaped and I fell onto aother branch. I looked at my arm which was bleeding from a big cut. I held on tight hoping this one wouldnt break. I look down, it was a far drop from here. I tried pulling myself up to a thicker branch only to see the branch I was on would break if I do so.

"Stay where you are I'll get you" I look over and saw Ateyo

"Go away" I huffed

"Look I'm sorry, take my hand I'm trying to help you" he reached over

I took it and held onto him as he climbed back down.

"I was so worried" Tsiryea hugged me

I hugged back

"Your hurt, we have to go" she guided me back to the village. Rotxo followed after giving Telion and his friends a look.

"The cut is not that deep, I'll be fine" I covered the cut with my hand.

"You are really bleeding" Rotxo covered my arm with  a cloth.

"We must tell my father what happened" she says

"No we can't, Tsireya please for my sake" I begged

"Tselenaum if we don't tell him they won't stop" she says

"Just don't tell them, please Tsireya" I begged

"If they do anything like that again I will tell my father" she walked faster

I looked down at the village as we walked down the hill. Ronal looked furious as she walked towards us after making eye contact. She led us back to the pod to heal my wound. I sat down and waited for her to stop the bleeding.

"Both of you were supposed to keep an eye on Tselenaum. Why di-"

"It's not their fault, I walked off without them knowing" I spoke up

"You keep getting hurt how many times do I have to tell you to be careful, what would have happened if we can't find you, never walk off alone without anyone knowing where you are" she scolded

I looked down as she did.

"Ronal-"

"Do not Tonowari, you are too soft on her"

After Ronal had finished I sat in my usual spot starring down on the village. I ate fish Tonowari had prepared earlier which was pretty good. I used the bones to draw on the ground since I had nothing else to do.

"Hey purple freak" I heard Aonung

I turned my head away from him. I just had a bad day why does he have to show up and make it worse.

"Ugh why do you have to be like this all time" he sat next to me.

"Why do you have to be so mean all the time" I say back

"What is your problem" he grabbed my shoulders 

"Im trying my best to fit in but I just stand out, I try making friends too big no one wants to be friends with me, but the only person I have is Tsireya, and I try with you but no matter what you avoid me, the only time you pay any attention to me is to make fun of me or embracing me." I ranted " you're always mean to me"

He didn't reply and just sat there carving a branch so I pushed him.

"You're not even listening to me"

"When will you realize you can't push me over" he gave me a look then smiled

I stuck my tongue at him and proceed to push again.

"It's almost eclipse, we should leave" he stood up

"I'm not walking with you" I crossed my arms

"Then walk alone" he walked down the hill

I stuck my tongue at him one last time before O headed back myself.
