Meet The Parents

A/N: This is the chapter where Wolf meets Diane's parents. Shout out to @gnomegirl95 for giving me Diane's moms name. Also, have a question for you all at the end if you finish it. Happy reading ;)

The rest of the week was going smoothly as Wolf's arm had finally healed yesterday. Diane had been wanting to tell Wolf something that has got her worried, but hasn't yet and would this morning...

Wolf woke up to the smell of food and saw Diane was gone. He then sat up and yawned before he got up and made his way to the kitchen.

Diane was making them some grilled cheese when she felt two paws rub her shoulders along with Wolf kissing her neck.

"Good morning sleepy head." Diane said, before turning her head to give Wolf a quick kiss.

"Good morning beautiful~" Wolf said nuzzling Diane once more, before getting the table set.

After the grilled cheese was ready, Diane served herself and Wolf as they sat down and ate. She knew she should tell him now rather than last second.

"So..." Diane began as Wolf just looked up at her after taking a bite of his sandwich and gave her a nod to continue.

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you. My parents are coming over." Diane said as Wolf just continued eating.

"Alright. I don't mind leaving for a few days." Wolf said, before Diane spoke again.

"Wolf. They're coming to meet you." Diane said as Wolf choked on his sandwich.

Diane had known that Wolf didn't have any parents, or as far as he was concerned. He was in an adoption center as long as he can remember before Snake came along and changed his life.

"O-oh. And when did they tell you this?" Wolf asked, drinking some water. He had a feeling Diane knew for a while.

Diane then looks down, "Well, for about a week now. They're coming today."

"What!?" Wolf said as he spit out his water and coughed.

"I'm sorry. Please don't be mad." Diane said with her ears down and looked like she was about to cry; making Wolf feel bad.

"It's okay Diane, really." Wolf said, as Diane, in an instant dropped the act.

Diane then had a grin on her face. "That's good."

"You tricky fox~" Wolf said, "I'll have to punish you later~"

"You haven't in a while~" Diane cooed.

Wolf then smirked before remembering the prob- I mean situation. "So what time are they coming?"

"Oh. They're not coming over. We're meeting them at a restaurant. They'll be here for a few days and visit a little." Diane said

Wolf then pouted. "That means I can't have you tonight. My arm just finished healing too~"

"Don't be upset~" Diane said, "I'll make it up to you. Now go get ready, we're gonna go to work soon."

Wolf then went to get ready. After he was ready, the two then left and got in the car. The rest of the morning was busy with Diane going to meeting and signing paperwork.

When it was lunch time, the two lovers went out to lunch at In-N-Out, a hamburger place.

"Mmm! Man these hamburgers are always so good. How do they do it!?" Wolf asked as he took a bite while Diane just watched Wolf, amused.

"If I didn't know any better I'd think you like them more than me~" Diane teased before Wolf growled.
