_________The Silvermore family were pretty well known in the wizarding world for multiple reasons. Firstly they were one of the wealthiest wizards at all time along with the Malfoys, which to their benefit gained them plenty of respect from lots business owners of Diagon Alley. The second reason is that their family has the longest line of the purest blood. Every ancestor of theirs, going back into the deepest of history, are all full blood witches and wizards with unthinkable talents. But the main reason the Silvermores were so famous was that they were descendants of the one and only, Merlin. Fun fact is that they were really good friends with the Potters before they got killed by you-know-who, with the Weasleys and the Malfoys, which had created some sort of rivalry between them.
Elena Silvermore was a small girl who grew up being recognised and noticed by everyone she passed, despite having two sisters, Morgan and Catherine, almost the same age as her. The three of them were really close and very supportive to each other, so she never felt left out.
When her and Morgan, one of the sisters, got their acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on their 11th birthday, the whole family were overjoyed. They couldn't wait to see their two bright witches grow and develop their truthful talents.
A trip to Diagon Alley was an experience she had lived many times before but she was much more excited to shop for her new school supplies and uniform, especially seeking for her very first own wand. Like always she was greeted with multiple bows and greetings while entering the shops, as well as her sisters and their parents, but they weren't so picky on that, they preferred being kind and more of treating everyone equally. Time was passing by rather quickly while they were all enjoying shopping for new stuff, and soon enough she already had her books picked up and robes fitted. Ollivander had set the young sisters up with their first wands. Elena had a 13 inch one with phoenix feather core.
And now was the part they were all waiting for the most; pet shopping!
Elena always wanted to have an owl of her own and now it was time for it to happen. She hopped excitedly towards a shop labelled "Eeylops Owl Emporium". She was over the moon when she found out she could bring a pet along with her to school. "Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad" those were the words written on her letter she received earlier. And of course she already had made up her mind.
The family of five bounded into the shop with their two daughters in front. Elena's eyes were continuously hopping around, from cage to cage, looking at the various choices of breeds and colours of the perfectly trained owls.
"Ahh, Mr and Mrs Evergreen! What a pleasure is it for you considering to buy one of my owls". The shopkeeper bowed and greeted the family with great respect, obviously excited and, maybe a little nervous at the same time, to have wealthy wizards in his shop.
"Hello Mr Eeylop! Thank you, my daughters Elena and and Morgan, will be wanting the finest ones to bring along with them to Hogwarts!" Mr Evergreen pointed over, with a big smile, to the two mesmerised sisters who were sticking their fingers into the cage of a brown barn owl.
The shop owner rubbed his chin in tought and disappeared into the back of the room. He quickly returned with two big cages, in each was sitting a brown eagle owl and another barn owl, the two of them outstandingly well trained.
"These two are named Dazzle and Waffles, they're the most tame owls we have on offer" he showed the cages to the girls whose eyes enlightened in awe in front of the majestic animals. "Bit more pricey than the others though." He added chuckling.
