Being friends with people that you met in school is such a thrill, especially now I'm an adult.

I walked into a restaurant that I went to quite a lot with my best friend, Delilah Amulet, from high school.

"Well, hello, Delilah," I chuckled.

"Every time, Evelyn Burroughs, it's getting old don't you think? Delilah raised an eyebrow.

"Right then, I'll make the jokes." I nudged her as she leaned back into her chair.

"What are we having to eat then?"

"Salad. If you have a problem with that, then you can leave," Delilah waved over to the waiter and gave our order as I smiled away at how demanding she was.

"Honestly, you always choose this four-seated table for us to sit at, it's like we are double dating with the air," I questioned.

"What's your problem with it? Whenever I come here with you I always invite someone else you've met in the past but she never turns up. She may come one and she may turn up with a guest. So that's why,"

"Take a bre-... Oh my god!" I looked out the restaurant window.

Delilah looked at me in confusion and I could feel her glaring.

"Is that fucking Lana Green and Keith Skylar?" I whispered slightly. No reply. Delilah stood up from her chair and waved at the window, gesturing for them to come over. That's the people she was talking about then.

Lana Green is Delilah's sister and Keith Skylar has been Lana's boyfriend on and off since high school.  Lana and I were peas in a pod back then but nobody knows what happened to that. I hope she and I pick up from where we left off.

My opinion of Keith isn't that strong but he's an alright guy, he has a good sense of humour, I guess...?

The couple walked in and sat at the same table as us, Delilah had already ordered four salads so they didn't have to. Lana was sitting on my left and Delilah was on my right, which meant, Keith was straight across from me.

Sometimes I'm not too fond of people taking their time to eat. Is it so they don't get themselves messy with the food, well, you're not a baby anymore.

I was the first one to finish the "meal". Easy to eat as it's just a salad, not messy.

I said with my right left crossed over my leg and my foot was bouncing, constantly hitting Lana's leg very softly. I looked at her and she smiled, then looked away.

Her smile brings back memories of high school. when we were teenagers, I always knew she would grow up to look perfect. Her build was perfection.

"So, how long have you guys been together?" I asked, looking at Lana.

"3 years." Keith piped up. I wasn't talking to you, douche.

"2 days." Lana plastered a fake smile on and pronounced it was fake. I heard Delilah draw in a breath.

Oh shit? They just got back on after being off? That's crazy. A smirk plastered on my face as I faced all my attention onto Keith.

"How did you get her to forgive you?" I hummed in amusement.

"You're assuming it was my fault?" Keith crossed his arms. Insecure, check.

"No, she isn't assuming. It's clear she knows the facts, Keith." Lana lent forward.

"Lana, what are you trying to say?" He leaned back in his chair.

"Im saying that you can't even tell the truth about our relationship. We can barely even make it a week, loving each other. I'm so sick of this." Lana fiddled with her fingers under the table but she looked so fucking confident, god.

"Carry on, you won't fucking dare will you?" Keith chuckled.

"I will and you know it."

"Go on then!" Keith gritted through his teeth.

"Im fucking saying that I know for a fact you don't love me, remember the time you cheated on me with Darby Reagen? After that, you still lied and said all you wanted was me. I'm just stupid enough to believe you, but you won't see that shit again, Keith."

"What the fuck have I said about mentioning her fucking name." Keith grabbed Lana's vest.

"RIGHT. Keith. Get the fuck off my sister and get the fuck out before I get security." Delilah stood up instantly.

"You're lucky that you have a hot sister Lana," He walked out.

"Ew! What the fuck!" Lana screeched while Delilah was literally gagging.

And its simply that easy to get them to break up. Still a bad guy. Like they always say "once a bad guy, always a bad guy,"
