GOSSIP GIRL
CHAPTER EIGHT"MARCIE LAWRENCE!?" Quinn exclaimed. "I get flying monkey and they give Galinda to Marcie Lawrence!?"
"It's not that bad-" Conrad attempted to console the very, very angry blonde.
"Shut up." Quinn seethed. She was a picture of pure hot, blinding rage. It was a week after auditions and Victoria had posted the cast list for the spring musical Quinn was unjustly rejected from. Nonetheless she wanted to know the bitch that took her spot.
"You know what they say, there's no small parts-" He tried again.
"Shut up" She shouted again. Conrad jumped. He'd never seen her so angry before. It was only now he had realised that all this time he was on Quinn's good side. The blonde whipped her body around, her hair slapping Conrad in the face as she pointed an accusatory finger at him. Conrad flinched at the finger. He was officially afraid of her. "This is your fault."
Conrad jerked his head in confusion. How did the fate of the school musical become his fault? He pointed a finger at himself just to make sure they were talking about the same person. "My fault?"
"Yes. You dated a she-devil and now she's ruining my life because I was selfless enough to help you." Conrad rolled his eyes. Yes, she was selfless. "This is a nightmare. First the musical, what next? She breaks into my house and steals my 2003 vanity fair?"
Conrad chuckled in amusement. "Really? That's number 2 on your list of important things."
Quinn craned her head with a glare. "If you don't understand the cultural significance of that magazine then I can't even look at you."
Conrad still didn't understand. Quinn turned with a huff and began walking. Conrad lingered behind her, listening to every complaint and accusation. He knew she was mad. She had every right to be. He really didn't think that Aubrey would stoop so low. He genuinely felt sorry for Quinn.
"Look, it's not like you can fix it. Aubrey's got complete control of the school. Her way goes."
"No!" The blonde snapped and Conrad felt his spine lock. This was serious. He'd never seen so much rage on a person. "I am sick of Aubrey getting her way. I'm taking the bitch down."
"And how are you planning on doing that?"
Quinn breathed in. God, he was a noob. Quinn batted her lashes and formed the kindest, most flirty smile she could muster. "I was hoping a certain ex boyfriend of hers might be kind enough to spill her darkest secrets."
