I sat on my bed staring at the text from Liam.

"Liv, we need to talk." Callie said, sitting across from me.

I quickly locked the screen, turning to her. "What's up?"

"I talked to Lena and Stef." I furrowed my eyebrows. "Talked to them?" She sighed. "About Liam."

A lump form in my throat. "You did?"

"Just about me, nothing about you or Gabi. It's not my story to tell." I sent her a thankful smile.

If they found out I had a daughter I would be long gone.

"But we're gonna press charges on him." She said. "On Liam? It's been like 3 years."

She chuckled dryly. "I know but, it's time we stop blaming ourselves Liv." I frowned at her words.

"I-I don't..." I sighed. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Did you yet?" I asked. Wondering if that was why Liam was reaching out to me.

"We were going to tomorrow, but uh, Stef getting shot put a wrench in that."

I snorted. "Yeah."

"So, if you want, there's still time for you to talk to them too." She told me. "Cal, I can't you know that."

She frowned. "The Foster's are different then everyone else Liv. They'll understand. You might even be able to get visits again."

"I can't, I'm sorry." I shook my head, going back to my phone.

"Hey Cal, I'm gonna go walk for a bit." I said, peaking my head in Lena and Stef's room. She jumped away from Brandon at my voice.

"Uh, yeah okay, don't be home late." She said quickly, obviously wanting me away from them. "Got it."

I sent another text to Liam before leaving the house.

It was a bad idea, a terrible idea. But I didn't know what else to do. I'd talk to him then let him find Gabi.

I sat on a swing at the park a few blocks from the Foster's. I thought it was the safest but furthest place we could meet.

"Hey." I jumped at the sound of his voice. Liam walked over to me from the opposite direction from me. "H-hi." I mumbled.

He sat on the swing next to me and I felt my stomach tighten with nerves.

"I'm glad you answered." He said casually. "Why are you looking for Gabi?" I said back harshly.

He chuckled slightly. "Looks you finally got a voice."

I sent him a glare, trying to keep a brave face. "Sorry, um, well you know, she's my kid too and I know you don't have her anymore, so..."

"So you think you can just come and take her?" I asked in shock. "Well it's not like you are."

I scoffed. "Gabi is with a good family, a family you will never meet. The only reason I lost her was because of you. If you hadn't raped Callie, we wouldn't have been sent away." I yelled.

"I didn't rape her." He said lowly. "Yes you did, Liam. You raped Callie and you raped me."

He grit his teeth. "I didn't do anything wrong. You wanted it."

"I wanted it? I was twelve, Liam and you were nineteen. Even if I did, how could that be okay?" I lowered my voice as tears filled my eyes.

His face dropped as if he just found out how young I was when it happened. "Liv, I-I, I just. I wanna see Gabi."

"Are you serious right now, go to hell Liam." I jumped up from the swing, starting away.

But his hand latched onto my risk, stopping me. "You're not going anywhere." He seethed.

I winced as he pulled me back to him. "Liam, let me go, you're hurting me." I cried out but he didn't stop.

"I want to see Gabi!" He shouted, throwing me to the ground. I groaned as my head hit the pole from the swing set.

Everything went blurry and my ears were ringing.

"Please just leave me and Gabi alone." I whimpered out. "I'm sorry liv, I'm so sorry." He said dropping to my side.

He cried. "I just want us to be a family." He said.

I felt my stomach churn at his words. "Get away from me." I said sternly, gaining back more strength.

"Get away from me." I yelled, pushing him away. "Don't try to call me, text me, or find me ever again."

I started running back to the house as my tears started to fall. He wasn't following me but I couldn't help but feel unsafe.

Everyone had already gone to sleep by the time I got home.

I covered my mouth with my hand, trying to cover my cries as I walked to my room.

Just as I made it to my bed Jesus's light turned on. "Shit." I mumbled under my breath.

"Liv is that you?" He asked, walking to my side of the curtain. "Yep." I said trying not to tremble.

"You okay?" He asked as I sat on my bed. "I'm fine."

He reached past me, turning on my light. "Jesus, Liv you're not fine." He said looking over me.

I was still crying. I knew my head was bleeding from the pole and I had a bruise on my cheek from hitting the ground. And probably one on my wrist.

Just as big of a mess as I was the first day I got to the Foster's.

"Where were you?" He asked, holding a tissue to my head. "I met up with someone." I sniffled.

"He was my old foster brother. Some things happened and we needed to talk." I said vaguely.

Knowing if I tried to go into detail I couldn't make it through without throwing up and crying hysterically.

"What happened?"

I winced when he bumped my wrist.

"I can't talk about it, I'm sorry." I said as my tears came back. "It's okay."

I cried into him. "Can you just stay with me, please?"

"Of course."
