The lady is there as usual waiting for me.
"It took you long, where were you?"
"As if dad allows me anywhere, now he told me to stay home forever no more university or stepping a foot outside the door kinda shit."
"Why would he do that?"
"He's not able to change my appearance back to normal. He's afraid someone will take me away. My old man has lost it I know."
"You look normal to me."
I look at myself, oh I'm normal for a moment I feel ecstatic before realising I'm in a dream. The lady stares at me with those sunken eyes drilling holes through me for answer, she has always been nice, what's wrong? I question myself.
" Well this is a dream as we both know, and well that's how my mind perceives me so maybe you ain't able to see my real appearance as of now. Wait maybe I can -"
Woah the whole floor is shaking, dad running towards me from a distance afar, screaming my name at the top of his lungs. Kevin suddenly zoomed in outta nowhere grabbing my hands and takes me towards dad. The lady stood there, her eyes were white that's -
" Wake up! Wake up Li!! Please wake up."
I woke up with a jerk, the heck dad, what happened. His face was tear stricken, woah there's Kevin too standing close by. When did he come. Worry marred his beautiful face, what in the world was happening?
"Li did you see a lady wearing white clothes, big green eyes.. and did she have a green necklace?" my dad asks anxiously
"How do you even? What's happening?"
"Li answer first!"
I contemplate whether I should tell him. The lady in the dream already said that it'd hurt him, even before knowing he looks in pain..
"Li if ever the lady said don't tell dad about it he'll be doomed or something like that do not listen, I repeat do not listen! Tell me Li, please."
Well I definitely can't take it anymore, dad must know.
"Yes dad, I have been seeing her since I was a child, since I could remember." dad inhales sharply at my words. A lil dramatic but OK. I continue,
"She's always been nice to me except in this dream. How did you even know that, the lady I've been seeing."
"Li listen to me very carefully, never ever I repeat ever listen to any word she says just never, she's your grandmother from mother's side but remember she hates me to the death. Was she the one who told you how to block me out?"
"Yes."
"See told you she wants to kill me, I've attuned myself to your mind if you ever do that I'd die."
I just remembered how dad gasped for air, it was surreal.
