'Sure wish we had a cherry tree in this town.' Sally remarked.
'I actually prefer peaches over cherries, but I think both are equally tasty.' Filbert replied.
'You've had a cherry before?'
'Once. Someone from another town came and brought some with her. I should've planted 1, but I ended up eating them. They were very tasty!'
'Do you know of the town that this person comes from?' Sally asked, curious.
'It's actually not that far from here. Are you about to ask me if I could get you one?' Filbert responded.
'If it's not too much trouble.'
The next day, Filbert hopped an early train to go to the town where the cherries were.
Later.
'Well, I brought some cherries! I made sure to actually save some this time so we can grow 1 here in town.' Filbert proudly said.
'Thank you thank you!' Sally exclaimed, hugging him.
Not only did they grow a successful cherry tree, but they carved their initials into it.
