7. A Vision

I sat there, on the front seat of Alan's car, sulking.

I'm so mad at Micah right now! I want to strangle him but I know I can't... Damn this wolf!!

*20 minutes ago*

I had the comfort of riding on Alan's back once more. After a few minutes we reached the road where he had parked his car. I carefully got down his back, ready to get in the car, when suddenly I saw them, Alan and Micah, turning their backs to me, as if ready to jump into the thicket once more.

"Where are we going again?"

"Not you, just us."

I was surprised. They can't do this to me.

"Wait what?! You both are leaving me here, in the middle of this creepy forest, for what? Some little parkour of yours?!"

"Yeah right... Unless you want to see us naked that is."

Its then I realised the cause of their actions. I was speechless, trying to get over Alan's sarcasm.

"Wha- No, its not that- I "

"Don't worry, my scent is all over the place. Unless you don't wander off, you will be safe. The creatures of this forest will never touch what's mine."

With that, he jumped off into the forest again, with Micah at his tow, leaving me a blushing mess behind. I covered my cheeks with my hands.

Its okay Kiara, he just said that as a reflex, I'm sure its nothing personal!... Or is it?!

I shook my head to clear my mind. I had to focus on what's more important right now, and that is my powers.

I repeated the words of 'the Wise One' in my head, trying to understand the meaning behind them. But no matter how much I tried, I could do nothing to focus. Alan's words were echoing in my head plus this dark forest is getting on my nerves.
I could hear the distant howls of the animals and the occasional hooting of an owl nearby.

How long do they need to put on a pair of clothes?! How can they leave a lady out in this forest like that!? I literally have goosebumps right now.. This forest is giving me the creeps!Ugh!

As I was trying to pass the time, lost in my thoughts, I heard a small shuffle behind my back. I turned to see nothing but a still, bushy shrub.

Maybe I'm being paranoid lol. Alan said I'll be safe so...

I turned towards the car, waiting, only to feel a hand creeping up my back at the next moment.

A scream left my throat the next second. I tightly shut my eyes, waving my hands frantically in the air in an attempt to get freed of whatever was crawling up my back. I discovered that my attempts were futile as soon as I heard a manly laughter echoing behind me.

I whirled back to find Micah, laughing his ass out at me. My shock immediately turned into anger. I balled my hands into fists, ready to give him a nice lesson.

"This time, I'm not gonna forgive you Micah!!"

He poked out his tongue at me, making my blood boil with anger. I was ready to give him a chase but stopped in my tracks when I heard Alan's voice.

"Are you done with your antics now?"

"No I'm not! I'm definitely gonna punish him today!" I protested.

"You can do that once we reach home, not in the middle of a forest."

"But he will run away!!" I complained to him.
