This is a little list of things you should not do!
DON'T,
* Introduce them to lots of people all at once.
* Talk to them in very crowded areas (take them to places like the library or a nice field).
* Ask them loads of personal questions until they trust you more and feel more comfortable around you.Approach them but make sure you look fucking kind. And don't talk down to them I mean that's just like saying "I'm better that you will ever be so you should never ever talk to me or anyone coz you're really stupid coz you can't even look people in the eye!" 😤 (exaggeration). But yeah you get the jist of what I'm saying.
Just remember that no matter how kind you look they still won't want to talk to you anytime soon so be patient. If by some miracle they do want to talk to you don't fuck it up. You should start by making basic conversation like this;
You: "Hey what's up?"
Them (hopefully) "Nothing much really. How about you?"
You: "Pretty crap just had some awful teacher (insert least favourite teachers name here)! Who's your least favourite teacher?" Etc. etc.Obviously if it's only in a short amount of time a simple acknowledgment should suffice. You know so they realise that you have noticed them.
Eventually, after lots of acknowledgements and simple conversations, they will start to feel slightly more comfortable around you and this is a crucial moment as this means you are this close 👌 to becoming close friends and him/her gaining your trust.
