He just wanted to get away. Get away from her. The cheating bitch! His girlfriend for three years. IT turned out, she had been cheating on him for two of those three years. He had found out by a pregnancy test in the bathroom garbage bin. They had always used condoms, and he was 100% sure none of them broke. When he had approached her about it, she laid everything down on the table, kicked him out and they had yet to talk again. Not that he wanted to anyways. He packed up some of his things, bought a plane ticket to Hawaii' and left in a taxi. No point in leaving his car at the airport.
Sighing, he hunched in his seat hazel eyes drooping closed. It was five in the morning and he was exhausted. It took too much effort to get up this early, but it would be worth it- he needed the vacation. He really the vacation. Away from everything.
"Flight 75, Honolulu, Hawaii' is ready to be boarded."
The man jerked up, eyes wide and staring around before he grabbed his bags and got up to board his plane. Shoving everything he brought with him in the compartment above his head, he sat down closest to the window. He chewed his lips, arms crossed over his chest. He was just glad he wasn't tall, or else he would be extremely claustrophobic. He was snapped out of his thoughts, when a rather large male sat beside him. He wasn't fat- no, he was really tall. Possibly seven foot.
"Uh... Hi?" He spoke nervously to the bigger man. Oh God, this stranger probably could snap his neck without even trying.
The man just stared at him, deep sea blue eyes unblinking.
"Uh... Okay?" He mumbled uncomfortably.
The man had crazy red hair that laid in different lengths around his shoulders.
"Well, uhh... I'm Luther," Luther smiled uneasily at the male. The man just blinked, eyed Luther then looked away.
"Weird.." Luther mumbled to himself, sinking back in his seat.
The silent redhead was tense, gripping the seat's arm rests. Luther even heard the seat groan with his grip.
"Your first time flying?" Luther asked in slight amusement, flashing a small smile at the tense male. Of course, the redhead didn't say anything blue eyes staring straight ahead. "Cool... Good talk." Luther nods, grimacing at the awkwardness, huddling against his pillow- attempting to sleep for most of the flight.
It went by easy enough. The redhead still not talking whenever Luther tried to spark a conversation. He just gave up after awhile of failed conversation starters. He just assumed the guy was either rude, or couldn't speak. It was a long flight, Luther was tired, exhausted honestly. He felt that if he even tried, the plane would crashed and he'd die. Plus he was entranced by the guys beauty.. It was... Almost inhuman, really. Strange, because he wasn't attracted to men. well, he never noticed it. The day was just weird. Weird in every way. He was roused from his daydreaming when the intercom went off.
"Flight 75 landing in 2 minutes. Please put on your seatbelts."
Huffing, Luther sat up buckling himself up hugging his pillow. He glanced at the silent male- whom was still tense and awake. Luther sighed, frowning to himself. What a strange day. He got off the plane, went through the security and got his luggage. Hailing a cab, he climbed in and gave the driver the directions setting off to the house he rented. Hawaii' was beautiful. His eyes wide, he stared at the scenery grinning to himself.
"Wow..."
"Beautiful, ain't it?" The cab driver spoke, startling Luther. "This your first time here?"
"Yeah, is it that obvious?" Luther said sheepishly.
"A little bit," the driver chuckled.
Luther sunk down in his seat, watching the beautiful sights as they drove past the,. He was quiet during the ride, climbing out of the car when it stopped in front of his rented house. He paid the cab driver, waving as he drove away. Sighing, he struggled with his luggage as he made his way up to the house. Birds chirped, flowers swayed gently in the breeze. Luther took a deep breath, eyes closed as he enjoyed the fresh air. It was something out of a movie. It was so much better than New York. It was quiet- well beside the natural sounds. So much better. So peaceful. He smiled as he stepped up to the house. It was nice, painted a soft wink, two stories. A few palmtrees were near the house, and a lot of those big Hawaiian flowers. He couldn't put a name to them, though. He wasn't some flower nerd.
Pushing open the door, he twirled his keys. He dropped his bags at the entry way after closing the doors. He gazed around, taking in the breath taking sight. The walls were painted a cream brown, the theme seeming to be animal like. Giraffe statues, a few zebras and elephants here and there. It was beautiful, really. And he loved it.
"Wow..." He breathed, exploring the rooms. His favourite was the master bedroom. It was large, larger than any room. With a big canopy bed with red silk blankets and zebra pillows.
"Man. Hawaii is great!"
