Shigaraki rewatched the Sports Festival with delight, pointing to the screen at Bakugo Katsuki, who was chained up. "He's downright villainous, he will be a perfect recruit, unless any of you have a better idea?"
The room stayed silent, before Dabi grunted, "Midoriya Izuku. Kid was quirkless up until UA, used to get beat to hell and back by his classmates. It's become clear that our main bully is Bakugo Katsuki. Sounds like a great villain backstory, don't you think?" Compress crossed his arms, seeming intrigued, Spinner sharing his curiosity.
"How would you know that, Dabi? But, if that's true, Midoriya would be a good choice." Shigaraki questioned, his childish demeanor falling away. "When I was homeless, kid would hide in the alley I squatted in. As a burn expert, I helped patch him up." The League nodded, and Shigaraki clicked the remote, turning off the tv.
"Well, I guess we'll be recruiting Midoriya. Maybe when he's not saving people, he won't be as annoying as he was at the USJ." The villains agreed, and Shigaraki went back to planning.

Midoriya ran into a random alleyway, hoping he wouldn't get hurt more than he already was. He'd accidentally tripped Kacchan today, and he was not happy about it. Swerving to hide behind a dumpster, he slid down to the ground, shaking.
His mom was on a work trip, luckily, so the worst of these injuries would be gone by the time she got back. The worst of it was on his shoulder, his uniform was singed, partly exposing the nasty burn on his shoulder. It was raw, and he knew it'd scar. There was blood coming from his nose, and part of his face was burnt as well. He'll have to take care of that as soon as possible.
Deciding against going home, where Kacchan and friends were probably waiting for him, he figured this alley wasn't too gross. Pushing himself onto his knees, to reach into his backpack, he winced, scrapes, and scratches being pulled uncomfortably.
Midoriya silently thanked whatever was up there for having him buy a new first aid kit. At least whatever deity decided to fuck him over will let him patch himself up. He elected to first disinfect his shoulder, because it was bleeding an uncomfortable amount. It was going to be a difficult task, only being able to use his good arm, but he'd manage.
"Holy shit, what happened? Those are some nasty burns." Midoriya whipped around, ignoring his body's protests, and he met eyes with someone much taller than him. He had bright blue eyes, and was covered in burn scars. "Just a bad day is all." Midoriya tried his best to smile.
The taller boy, seeming not much older than Midoriya, he guessed 16 or 17 seemed unconvinced by Midoriya's smile. He quirked an eyebrow, "Want some help? Burns are bitches to deal with, I speak from experience." Help would be nice, the blast had caught both his shoulders, so it hurt to move either of them. Midoriya nodded his head, and the mysterious stranger sat down, combing through his supplies.
"Not your first rodeo, huh? This is some good burn cream. Get that shirt off, judging by the sewing kit, you're going to fix it? You can do that while I patch you up." Midoriya confirmed this, and he huffed in amusement.
It was quiet for part of it, before Midoriya's curiosity got the better of him, "What's your name?" The older boy paused for a moment, before responding, "Dabi." They began to talk, both avoiding why they were both covered in burns. Instead they talked about the best way to treat them, and other more childish topics.
Before long, Dabi was done patching up Midoriya's shoulder. It had taken an impressive amount of bandages and time to make sure it wouldn't get infected. Midoriya had tended to the injuries on his face, and soon he was on his way. It was getting dark, so hopefully, Kacchan's lackeys had cleared out.
