After 5 years, after 5 rough years, they're back. The X-Men, after their 5 year long absence, are finally returned. It's been what feels like a millenia since they've been back at the school, but it feels like it feels just like yesterday I was entering the school. It's crazy to think that only a week after I was brought to this institution, the best people here disappeared out of thin air.

My close friends all gossipped about they're favorite members as I walk to the entrance of the school where the X-Men are walking in, all showing off their powers. I sigh as I see one specific man, though. Peter Maximoff, Quicksilver himself, walked in, laughing and signing autographs. I can't help but blush when I see his signature smug smirk. Ever since the day I started going here, I had swooned for him, seeing him speed by was enough to get my heart racing. I watched him from the behind crowd, my cheeks a bright red as he walks by.

"You got the hots for him, huh?"
I look behind me and see who's talking to me. It's Mr. Wade, sporting his signature red suit as always.
"Oh, h-hi, Mr. Wade. I um... no, just..."
He elbows me jokingly with a cocky laugh.
"Don't sweat it kid, I don't care who the hell you like, rather it's boy, girl, neither, in between, shit, a fuckin' unicorn could be your lover and I'd be happy for you."
I manage a chuckle. It still amazes me that Professor Xavier allowed Mr. Wade to even become a teacher here, he must've been really desperate for replacements. Mr. Wade usually slacks off anyways, he's like one of my only few friends.
"Oh, shit. Is that... HEY! LOGAN! IT'S ME WADE! HEY BUDDY!"
He sprints into the crowd jumping on Wolverine, both guffawing loudly.
"Huh, I thought he waited Mr. Wade."

After all the X-Men enter, Professor Xavier dismisses us to our dorms. My friends and I chatter for a while on the way to our rooms. After we talk for what seems likes hours, we all say our goodbyes for the night. I enter my dorm room, resting my leather knapsack near the foot my bed. I take off my coat and turn on my bedside lamp, which radiates a calming orange light, taking out my brown journal with a cover that has words imprinted in metal.
"Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost."

I begin to take off my brown winter coat before hearing my dorm entrance door open and shut, making me stop in my place, my heart skipping a beat.
A calm but squeaky voice speaks from behind me.
"Oh... Shit, I'm sorry I didn't mean to, like, intrude or anything."
I turn around to match the voice to a face as it starts again.
"Sorry, do I know you?"
