[Salvatore Boarding House]

Elena is sitting in the cell in the basement dagger in hand, waiting for Elijah to wake up. Suddenly he wakes up. Elena rushes over to him. He's in shock when he sees her. "Elijah." Elena says, trying to help him gain his bearings.

Elijah gasps. "Katerina!"

Elena puts her hand on his shoulder. "Elijah! It's me, it's Elena."

Elijah tries to breath in, but feels restricted. "Oh, my God." He closes his eyes. Elena gets closer but his body spasms. He gets up and is gasping for air. "I can't-I can't breathe! What's happening to me?" He rushes over near the door but slams into the doorway. She rushes over to him and holds him up. "I can't...I can't be in this house." He gasps.

Elena's eyes widen in realization. "You're not invited in."

"Then get me out of here." He slams into another wall and disappears. Elena runs after him and goes to the front door. Elijah is crouching outside. He gets up and rushes at her to enter but freezes at the threshold, unable to enter. "What happened?" He asks, knowing if he was undaggered, something must have pushed her to awaken him.

"Shh!" Elena hushes him, she points upstairs to show that the rest of the house was asleep. I'll tell you. Not here. Can I trust you?" She whispers.

He whispers too, narrowing his eyes at the girl. "Can I trust you? Where is Alura?"

"She is sleeping upstairs, I can get her if you'd like." Elena explains. Elijah nods so Elena tip toes her way up to Alura's room.

"Ali, Ali wake up." Elena gently shakes the vampire.

Alura slowly opens her eyes. "What type of suicidal BS did you do now?" Alura groans. Elena glares at her and presses her fingers to her lips. She slowly shows Ali the dagger. "Of fucking course you did." Alura glares. "Has he woken?" Elena nods in reply. "I suppose he has requested my presence." Alura rolls her eyes, getting up and vamping herself ready, before following Elena back to the front door.

Elena smiles at Elijah, and passes him the dagger. Elijah takes it right away, placing it in his jacket. "Come along." Elijah nods towards the driveway.

[Alaric's Residence]

Klaus/Alaric is at the door with Maddox, as Katherine is making coffee. "I'll be back as soon as I can." Maddox tells Klaus who is holding open the door for him.

"Yes, do hurry. I'm anxious to get out of this body. And if you get hung up, call me. You know how impatient I get." Klaus smirks as he shuts the door, Maddox leaving.

"Where is he going?" Katherine asks from her place in the kitchen. she holds out a mug of coffee to Klaus.

"To retrieve me. So I can get out of this bad hair-do." Alaric/Klaus explains as he takes the mug.

Katherine raises an eyebrow at the man. "Are you sure that's a good idea, Klaus?"

"Well, the full moon is almost upon us." He puts the moonstone on the table. "I've killed the witch, I have the moon stone, and the doppelganger is waiting in the wings. Alura is already here, and with a little more blood in her system, she'll be good to go. Ohh, I am ready to break this curse."

Katherine narrows her eyes at him. "And why would you do that here? There's so many people that would try to stop you."

"Because I have to. It's the birthplace of the doppelganger." Klaus reveals.

"I didn't realize that was a requirement." Katherine states.

Alaric/Klaus tilts his head mockingly at the girl. "Well, how could you? You betrayed me and fled England before I could give you the details, Katerina. But I did find your birthplace and I slaughtered your family. So I guess we're cool. Let's just hope that Elena isn't as stupid as you were."
