"You just want to talk?" Rory whispered quietly into the phone while she stood on the back porch as she heard Jess walk into her house.
"I think it would be beneficial for us to discuss some things." Logan said calmly.
"What things?"
"The proposal, how childish I acted when you said no, just stuff that never got resorted. C'mon Ace." Logan used his old nickname for Rory.
"Am I supposed to fly to California or what, Logan?" She sighed, not sure that this was a great idea with Jess back in her life.
"You could, or I could come to you."
"Let me check my work schedule and figure stuff out, I'll call you later." She said, hanging up the phone before he could say anything else. She checked her email and saw that the interview with Obama had been given to her. Rory would have to leave in a few days to return to her busy life.
She put her phone in her back pocket of her jeans and walked into the house to be greeted by Jess.

After Jess and Rory got back from talking, they spent a long time watching TV and cuddling. Neither one of them said a word during this time as Jess pondered over his lastest family drama and Rory pondered the whole Logan situation.
If Rory was to meet with Logan, she'd have to go when she's out of town for work. And she had to figure things out with Jess still. None of them had discussed whether or not they were officially dating. Rory would assume so, so meeting with Logan would have to be kept quick and just talking. Just talking meant Rory not falling for his puppy eyes if and when he says he wants her back or that they messed up. It also meant keeping in mind that Jess is or could be her boyfriend now. A fact that Logan should know and a boundary that shouldn't be crossed.

Jess however was trying to get his family drama out of his head and focus on the TV show. He didn't even know what was playing his mind was so wrapped up in his own self pity.
He kissed Rory on the cheek and returned to pondering the mess that was his life.

Lorelai was laying in Luke's bed in the apartment above the diner and was scrolling through her phone looking for that darn photographer's phone number. Yes! Finally! She thought as she quickly pressed the call button.
"Hi Sarah, I know it's late but this is Lorelai Gilmore. I had an idea for the members in the wedding... No it's not the idea with the poodles, but I was thinking we could do a whole James Bond type thing. Call you back tomorrow? Okay, sorry Sarah!"
Luke overheard his wife-to-be rambling and he chuckled to himself as he grabbed the popcorn, walking back to bed.
"Okay, put the phone down." Luke instructed.
"But, my precious!" Lorelai imitated
Gollum from Lord of the Rings.
"Put it down, Lorelai." Luke looked at her with a serious look.
"Fine." She let out an exaggerated sigh, putting her phone on the nightside table.
"I do this because I love you." He smirked and leaned over to kiss her.
Suddenly, they heard a crash from downstairs that sounded an awful like glass being broken in.
