Abroad. ~ Katsuki Bakugo

Chapter 7

Now the girls strolled through the shopping centre. They already visited various shops and now they were heading to a video game shop. "Oh check that out." Suzan pointed on the machine where you could create custom keychains. "Wow, I am gonna make some!" Evelyn quickly put in the coins to create one. The machine light up and now showed different options. Evelyn choose to make a keychain with a chibi of her. In total, she made like five keychains and bought a new game for her switch.

Now they were parting at the shopping mall to go home. The time was 8pm. Evelyn stepped out of the shopping centre towards the bus stop. "Hey Idiot, wait!" A male voice called from behind, which Evelyn recognized as Katsuki's. It didn't stop her from yelping. "God damn Katsuki, you startled me." Evelyn uttered. "Yeah, don't be a crybaby. So you are already done shopping, huh. Let's go home then." They took the bus to the main station, where Evelyn suggested grabbing takeaway. "Ugh fine, where do you want to go?" Katsuki gave in and Evelyn pulled him to McDonalds. The went to order at the ordering machine. Evelyn chose three Hamburger, one McChicken, fries and a vanilla milkshake. Katsuki just chose a chicken Caesar salad and a bottle of water.

"Ah, finally something to eat." Evelyn moaned, delighted, and took a huge bite of her burger. "Haven't you eaten in the shopping centre." Katsuki raised a brow. "Nah, we only got Boba and frozen yogurt." They were now taking their train home and eating the food. "Oh before I forget," the black haired girl rummaged in her bag looking for a keychain, "I made this keychain for you, it's a chibi version of you." She grinned and gave him the small keychain. "Oh, thank you, I guess." Katsuki's face reddened. He took the keychain and put it on his gym bag. "I hope you like it." Evelyn chirped, continuing to eat. Katsuki stared at the small keychain, he indeed liked it. He smiled at the thought that she made something for him. "Earth to Katsuki. Is someone there?" She waved in front of his face to get his attention. "Huh yeah?" "We have to get off the train." She laughed a bit due to his confusion. They swiftly took their bags and left. 

"Are you excited for Valentine's Day" Evelyn wanted to know, "Should I be?" "Well, I am thrilled. I hope I get roses this year!" She was optimistic. "Roses suck." Katsuki just commented, shrugging. Suddenly, the girl tripped over a stone, but luckily Katsuki comes to her rescue by catching her. "Careful idiot, you could have hurt yourself!" He scolded with a hint of worry in his voice. "Yeah, thank you." She mumbled with embarrassment.

"We are home!" Evelyn called into the house while taking off her shoes and coat. They went upstairs, where she started to sort her new clothes into the wardrobe. "Did you really buy dresses and tops? It is February!" Katsuki lectures when he saw all the clothes she bought. "Well yeah, but I wear these on days I spend majorly inside. I also have outside clothes for rainy or colder days. So it isn't like I don't own hoodies or warm clothes. In fact, I have two hoodies." She pointed on two black hoodies hanging in the corner of her wardrobe. "Sometimes I wonder what is going on in your head." he shook his head, grinning and went to the bathroom to change into grey sweatpants and a tank top.

While Katsuki was in the bathroom, his phone rang a few times. "I should bring him his phone. Evelyn snatched the phone and ran to the bathroom. "Katsuki, your phone is ringing." She knocked on the door and was met with Katsuki just in sweatpants. "Oh, uhm, am I disturbing you." She asked embarrassed. "No it's fine." He mumbled, stepping closer. This caused the dark haired girl to step back instinctively. "So, could you give me the phone then." He huffed, confused due to the girl's actions. "Oh, of course, yes. Here." He declined the call and put the phone beside to put on his tank top. Just for it to ring again. "Oh, your pho-" "I know, i hear it." He mumbled annoyed. "Also a damn video call" This time he accepted. "What do you guys want?" he questioned. Evelyn next to him didn't understand a word of what they were saying. The only Japanese phrases she knew were 'hello' and 'thank you'. "I am actually busy right now." Katsuki explained himself irritated. "Ah c'mon you can probably talk a few minutes." The voice of his red haired friend echoed through the smartphone. "I am gonna leave you alone, have fun talking to your friends!" Evelyn commented, wanting to go back to the bedroom. "Huh, who is that bro? Hello, can you hear me? Hello?" the same voice called through the phone. "Hey Idiot. Wait and say hi to my friend Kirishima." Katsuki shouted after the girl. Evelyn turned around but hesitated. "Come! Don't be shy." 

"Hello, I am Evelyn." The girl mumbled awkwardly. "Oh hi! I am Kirishima, Bakugo's best friend." The bubbly redhead introduced himself. "You are his exchange partner right?" before she was able to answer, Katsuki already interrupted, "Yes she is. Don't you dare to tell the others! I don't want Kaminari bugging me to get her number." He said harshly, which caused Kirishima to grin, "Don't worry, nobody is going to steal your cute girlfriend." He teased him. "Hey, are you guys talking about me?" The girl was looking confused to her blonde friend. "Don't worry." He whispered, not giving her a clear answer, but gently pushing her towards the bedroom. "Okay Kirishima, we are going to bed now, it is pretty late over here." They said their goodbyes and Katsuki hung up.

"Let's go to sleep, shorty." "I am not short!" The girl made clear, folding her arms trying to look mad. "You are tall? Then try to get that." He snatched her phone and held it up. A cocky grin adorned his face. "Hey, that is unfair!" She called out, trying to reach her phone. "Don't be such an asshole!" she pouted, but then an idea crossed her mind. She turned around pretending to leave, but when he put his guard down, she made an U-turn and jumped right on him. She got her phone, but this action also caused both to fall. The two were quite startled.

"Sorry, I, I didn't mean to-" "It's fine." Evelyn got up and helped the blonde up. "We should go to bed, shouldn't we." She laughed awkwardly and took her stuff to get ready for bed.
