Chapter 1

Wind,
was all I could hear apart from the people screaming behind me telling me to transform so it would be safer for me but I couldn't... I didn't know how to; I was only 7, I didn't have the proper training. My mum came & shoved me from behind & whispered in my ear, "Go with Henry he'll train you and protect you, go now love u." Then she gave me a bag and a big, long kiss on the cheek and told me to follow a man I didn't recognise as she hurriedly pushed me forward. He just stood there, staring at me. I didn't move until I heard a piercing scream behind me and I realized it belonged to my mum, I looked back to see a man in black loose clothes, using a Hood to cover his face; so I couldn't make out his facial features, take a long silver spear with black streaks flowing around from the handle to the point, from her stomach, And I struggled to fight back the tears that rolled down my face; as I saw my mum mouth "I love u" just before her eyes rolled back. I shouted "Mum!" as I started running to the man and I saw the whitest teeth I've ever seen smile at me, even through the blur caused by the tears in my eyes. It got me angrier than ever, I felt a new sensation all over my body as my muscles expanded just before I passed out.
