TW; SELF HARM
After hua cheng had shut the door, xie lian stood up and went to his bathroom and looked at himself in the bathroom mirror. He didn't wanna do it again. He didn't wanna cut himself again.
Xie lian sighed deeply and opens up the storage behind the mirror and grabs the blade he hasn't used in a long time.
Xie lian took a deep breath before pressing the blade against his skin and harming himself. He felt as if it was HIS fault for both his parents' deaths. HIS fault on why he lost everyone he loved. Everything
Blood drips down his arm and onto the white marble sink. Xie lian started crying, the pain hurt so bad and yet it felt so good. After the third line on his arm, he drops the blade down to the floor. He accidentally cut himself too deep
"ARGH! Shit!" Xie lian grabbed the bandages that were in his mirror and wrapped his arm with it. Once he had wrapped his arm, he looked at himself on his mirror
"Why would you do that you.. dumbass! You dumbass! You were 2 months clean!.." xie lian's tears fell down his eyes as he punched the bathroom counter over and over again until his fist starts bleeding
After xie lian's breakdown, he goes into his room and wraps himself under the sheets of his bed to go to sleep.
Hua Cheng's POV | 3:45 AM
Hua Cheng woke up too early. He couldn't fall back asleep, so now he was just doing some work on his laptop
Hua cheng takes a sip of his coffee and continues to work. There wasn't exactly much happening right now
Hua cheng was bored out of his mind
At Hua Inc. | 12:35 PM
Yin yu greets hua cheng with respect before speaking "Hua Chengzhu, there is someone waiting for you in your office."
"Oh? Who is it?" Hua cheng asked
"I.. uhm.. don't exactly know, All they said they had an important meeting scheduled today." Yin yu said, embarrassed
"What the fuck? Why'd you welcome someone in my office that you don't even know about?!" Hua cheng said angrily
"I'm sorry, hua chengzhu.." yin yu bowed down deeply to show that he is deeply sorry
Hua Cheng ignored his apology and heads to his office to see who this mystery person is
Once he had entered his office, he saw xie lian in his office. Dressed in a white polo and dark blue jeans
"Gege? What are you doing here? Your sick! You shouldn't be here." Hua cheng scolds xie lian
"Aha.. don't worry about me, San lang. I'm doing way better." Xie lian weakly smiled, hua cheng knew something was up. And not a very good thing
"Gege, what happened? I sense something is wrong." Hua cheng said with concern
"Ah, there's nothing wrong. I'm fine." Xie lian reassures hua cheng that he was alright
"Alright.. then why are you here, gege?" Hua cheng asked
"Oh.. just wanted to pay a visit! Or maybe even help you work!" Xie lian said
The real reason was.. he didn't trust himself all alone in his home. He was too mentally ill and can't control himself when it comes to self harm, he didn't wanna be alone.
"Gege is still sick, he may just watch me work and talk to me when needed." Hua cheng smiled
"No, no! I really insist! I wanna help you when you need help!" Xie lian insisted with a smile
Hua Cheng sighed "alright gege. I'll just let you know when I need help." Hua cheng slightly chuckled as he sat on his office chair and started to work
A few minutes of silence passed and hua cheng needed someone to grab a few files in one of the lil metal office cabinet thingies
"Gege, can you get the documents at the right drawer?" Hua cheng asked
"Of course, San lang." Xie lian stood up and went to the metal drawers then got out the files
Hua Cheng noticed something.. since xie lian's white polo was a bit oversized on him, he saw some bandages that were wrapped around his arm. He wondered what those bandages were for and how did xie lian need them around his arm
"Here you go, San lang" xie lian put down the files infront of hua cheng
"Thank you, gege." Hua Cheng opened up the files and checked it out and then proceeds to do his work
Hua Inc. Cafeteria | 4:56 PM
"Thank you, gege, for helping me." Hua Cheng grabbed a food tray and grabs his food at the buffet
"It's really no problem, San lang. I'm always available to help you!" Xie lian follows what hua cheng does
After the both of them got their food, they find a table to sit at and munch on their yummy food
Hua Cheng's Office | 11:11 PM
Xie lian yawned "San lang, I thought you usually end your shift at 10 pm.." xie lian sleepily said, he wasn't exactly used to staying awake at this time
"I end my shift early to take care of gege when he was sick." Hua cheng said "also how are you feeling? Specify it." He added
"Oh, I'm much better. My fever is gone now and I'm not feeling nauseous or anything" xie lian replied
"That's good to hear gege. My shift will end later at around.. 2:45 am. You may sleep at that couch over there if you like or you could go home." Hua cheng offers
"No, no. I don't wanna leave yet." Xie lian walks over to the couch to take a nap while hua cheng doesn't need his help yet
Hua cheng sighed and continued to work 'why doesn't gege want to leave? I'd literally die and gauge my eye out to leave this damn company and get some sleep at my own home.' hua cheng talked to himself
While drowning in his thoughts for a few minutes, he hears xie lian mumbling. He snaps out of his thoughts to focus on the male on the couch having a.. bad dream?
