After running about a mile through the surprisingly desolate streets of London, I turned a corner to find my dads at the crime scene. Luckily, I had ended up in the right place as I was almost certain I had gone the wrong way. I ducked under the police tape and walked over to them. I thought about sneaking up on them but decided not to as there was a very high chance they were both carrying their guns and scaring them was the perfect way to get shot. "What do you think, John? I say we give it another hour then we go looking for her. I can't believe she's not here it would make logical sense but there again what would I know I'm not a vampire hunter!" groaned Sherlock.
"I say we go now!" I chipped in.
"Good idea, Zand. Hang on… ZAND??" yelled John. "Zander Holmes, you've got some explaining to do." he said sternly.
Suddenly, a blood curdling scream pierced the night. I had been saved by the . . . scream? We all ran towards the sound to find a man in an alley, on the floor with a woman attached to his neck.
"Richards?" I asked, looking up at Sherlock.
"Probably." he replied.
"Only one way to find out!" added John, "RICHARDS!!! GET OF HIM!!" he bellowed. The woman looked up at us with blood tumbling from her mouth and hissed. From this we got a good glimpse of her teeth and most importantly, her canines which were considerably bigger and sharper than those of a normal human. We were all certain that that was Ellen Richards. It only took her a few seconds for her to realise that we were after her. She stood up and took off ,away from us. We immediately ran after her. We followed her down the alley, up a flight of spiral staircase and up on to the flat roof of a building. We very quickly got to the end of the roof. Mrs Richards turned around to look at us. There was a flash of dispair in he eyes.
Sherlock reached out his hand and inched towards her. "Step away from the edge. We can help you. Just come over here. Away from the edge." he beckoned. Richards shook her head, spread out her arms and leaped off the roof. Splat. We all looked down at her body in horror.
