a/n: This is Ross Lynch, R5, and Laura Marano but in the A&A world. While I will be keeping the main plot and episodes essential to the show, other chapters will be my own plots and ideas. If there are any new characters not in the show I will add a face claim and a bio. Also, no hate please. You will be blocked. We are all friends here. Enjoy!
POV: Laura Reagan Marano
They don't know know your name name name. That seems like a good lyric. I quickly grab my precious songbook/diary as I jot that down. I got that book as a gift from my parents when they told me they were divorcing two years ago. It's been one of my best friends since. The absolute best friend being Raini however.
"Guess who got a job at Cupcake City?" a short Latino curly-haired tempered teenage girl dressed in a cupcake headband exclaims while walking in. Speaking of Raini.
"Cool. Your first job. How is it?" I ask from across the counter.
"Ehhh. It's okay. Wanna go to a movie later with Ness?" She asks.
"Not today. My sister's out at theater practice. She wants to make this one count since this is her last year at Marino."
"Yeah. Can't believe she's already a senior. Anyway, cupcake?" Raini says handing me a cupcake.
"Sure" I grab it taking a big bite of the vanilla cake covered in strawberry frosting with sprinkles.
"They give us all the rejects. I dropped that one on the floor." Raini says.
Wait. What!!! I rush to grab a paper towel and spit it out. "We can go to the movies tomorrow if you like? but, Ness won't be free" I say slowly turning around.
"I would love to go to the movies dear." I see an old lady that looks suspiciously like my late great aunt Ruth. "It's a date."
"Great. You were totally the person I was asking." I say trying not be rude to the lady. Where is Raini???
Suddenly, I hear a drum sound coming from the corner of the room. I see 2 blondes and 2 red-heads huddles over someone playing the drums. Next to them is a red-headed boy with a camera filming them.
I run over and whistle loudly.
"Hey, no playing the drums. Do you not see the sign?" I say pointing to the sign above the piano that reads "NO PLAYING THE DRUMS". The people huddled around the drums move away and look at me. For the first time, I see the drummer. It's a teenage blonde who looks like he is almost a foot taller than me. Wow, he's cute. Wait, he's using corndogs as drumsticks. Grossss Is he for real? "And are those corndogs?"
"It's okay. I'm an awesome drummer. Maybe not as good as Ell over there" he says gesturing to the shorter one of the redheads I saw huddled around the drums who waves at me,"but, I can play." he says.
"What you just said has nothing to do with what I just said." I say waving my hands. "These drums are very dusty. Also, you need to buy the drums before playing them."
"Guys, I'll handle this." the redhead with the camera says walking up to me,"ma'am, we are filming a music video right now."
"Wait Calum," says the blonde drummer rushing over,"Here's the thing." he puts one hand in his jeans pocket while the other scratches the back of his head while he sheepishly grins."We don't have any money. So, could we pay you back when we're rich and famous."
"Sure, just have your butler fly over on his private jet and drop it off." I say my voice dripping with obvious sarcasm.
"Really? Thank you so much!" the taller redhead says.
