Xin was still a child, he was never treated fairly by his mother. Every Time he saw his parents, he hid behind the corner and tried to protect himself. But he was always beaten up by his heartless mother. He was never allowed to go outside, but one day he decided to leave his house for once. His mother came back home unexpectedly and saw that her child wasn't in his room, so she quickly left the house and started searching for Xin. His mother was ready to kill him when he found him. Xin couldn't talk so he pulled someone's shirt and hid behind them."Hello child, what are you doing here?" Then suddenly the old lady heard someone screaming from a distance. "YUAN YOU COME HERE RIGHT NOW" .
The old lady immediately knew what was happening, she got Yuan's hand and hid him inside her house. "Yuan, I'll make dinner okay?" But Yuan didn't understand what she said but he stayed inside the house and waited for the old lady. When the old lady finished cooking and served it to Yuan, he quickly ate the whole bowl of pork and rice! I'm wondering.. When was the last time he ate..? The old lady prepared his new clothes and his bed. "I'm sorry Yuan, these clothes were very old. It was my son's old clothes when he was still little. You sleep now okay? " The old lady left the room and Yuan was all alone. Yuan felt happy for once, it was the first time feeling this way.Over the next few days, the old lady teached Yuan how to talk, plant crops, and wash some clothes. Yuan's life was peaceful those days, all he did was planting crops and talking to the old lady. Everything changed in one day, when Yuan was picking some vegetables from the garden he saw the old lady on the floor. "Grandma? Are you ok?" . Yuan went silent, and tears were falling down. The old lady passed away suddenly and Yuan couldn't stop crying. Other people heard Yuan's crying and saw the tragic moment that happened.
The people were nice enough to make a grave for the old lady, but they all pitied Yuan. They saw him near the old lady's grave for days and he didn't move in the same spot.There was another problem that happened. The old lady's grave was in a forest, the world that they have been living in was full of beasts and mystical creatures.
The forest was famous because when people went inside the forest, they were missing for years. The people in the village never knew the story of the forest, but everyone outside the village always feared the forest.Yuan heard a noise inside a forest, it was a growling noise that was in the bushes. Yuan got scared, but didn't hesitate to check what was inside the bushes. When he got closer a wild beast bit his leg.
"GET AWAY! GET AWAY FROM ME!" he cried and screamed in pain. The creature looked like an animal, but it didn't look like a normal animal.. It was a dark figure. Poor Yuan was so scared that he fainted at the spot. The creature thought he was dead so he left seeking for another person to attack.
When Yuan woke up, it was sunrise. He wanted to leave the forest so he quickly searched for the exit. His legs were injured and his body was too weak, how did he have the strength to run really fast?It was nearly sunset, and Yuan finally found the village. He cried out loud hoping for someone to help him but he heard something again. "Who are those people? " It sounded like people......men.....soldiers? Yuan got confused and ran to the center of the village. There were a lot of soldiers, they were destroying the houses and killing the villagers. Yuan got scared so he quickly went somewhere, but a person who was with the group of soldiers saw him.
"Hey you child! Come back here!" A soldier screamed at him and that alerted the leader. The leader was no other than the feared Dark Prince. Why was he making a mess in an old and useless village? The Dark Prince teleported to the child and asked;"What are you doing here?" He asked in an irritating voice.
