- Daeho country-
A country built around a grand lake with enormous mystical powers. Mages - people who can harness the lake's power - emerged from it.
To become well-trained mages, mages must master various power levels.
Jipsu- the ability to gather water energy-is the first stage. Energy must be drawn from both yourself and the water. As long as the gate to their power is open, all mages have the inherent ability to master this step...
Ryusu- allows mages to gain energy from a flowing stream of water.
Tansu- a mage can use Ryusu power to slice a single water droplet with their sword, emitting a fatal energy blow.
Chisu is the most challenging stage, requiring the ability to control energy in the atmosphere. Learning takes years, and few well-trained mages have succeeded. Only one of the young mages who has mastered Chisu is a mage named Seo Yul. He might be able to control the atmosphere and water.
Hansu, the unattainable level, is considered dark magic, challenging to master, and forbidden. It is the ability to transfer one's soul to a different human body.
THE FOUR MAGICAL DYNASTIES
Daeho-Park is home to four powerful mage families: Seo, Jang, and Jin. Park Dang Gu, Seo Yul, Jang Uk, and Jin Cho Yeon, the family's young mages, are the four seasons in Daeho. Jang Uk is the weakest of them, and he was expelled from numerous schools because no master could teach him the spells.
This is the alchemy of souls- the relic of souls where an unlikely duo found themselves part of the woes of the four destinies.
