Sky's P.O.V.
I woke up with the sound of birds chirping. I stood up, streched, and walked downstairs to get some breakfast.
I lived in my home alone. It wasn't very big. Just my room and parents (old) room upstairs and kitchen, living room, and bathroom downstairs.
I grabbed a bowl and poured in some milk and Lucky Charms. I plopped down on a couch and quietly ate.
Cash P.O.V.
It was pretty early in the morning. All I could remember was what happened last night after I left Sky.
(Flashback to last night)
"What were you doing with Sky?" Claire asked me.
"Just talking. I thought she could use so company." I replied.
"Well, stay away from her. She is just an ugly and worthless piece of trash." Claire said, shoving noodles in her mouth.
"She's not worthless!" Or ugly. I thought to myself.
"Well if you like her so much then why are you with me? I know I'm so much prettier and have friends. You obviously should be with me." Claire said.
"You know what? We're done!" I screamed at her.
"What? You aren't seriously leaving, right?" She said, laughing hysterically.
"Go find a guy who will put up with you." I said and exited the restaurant.
I then realized Sky won't like me back. She thinks I'm with Claire. I ran home and felt tears streaming down my cheeks.
(Flashback over)
I wiped the actual tears off my checks. I'm a jerk.
Sky P.O.V
After, I finished breakfast I heard a knock on the door. I walked over to it and opened it.
"Cody? What are you doing here?" I asked.
Cody was my neighbor who lived across the street. He was pretty cute, too.
"Woah. Are you ok?" He asked me.
I looked down at myself and saw I was still wearing Cash's sweatshirt and it had mascara all over it, as well as my face.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I look terrible!" I said, wiping my face.
"No! You look cute, actually. You can go change if you want. I'll wait here." He said.
Cody is very caring.
"Ok, thanks! I'll be right back!" I said and ran upstairs. I threw on some gray oversized sweats and a fitted white t-shirt. I put my hair in a ponytail. I wiped of my old makeup and put on some new makeup. My usal, which is just mascara.
I took a quick glance at myself in the mirror, and I actually looked decent.
I ran back downstairs and Cody's jaw dropped.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked, wiping my face.
"No,no. It's just, you look... You." He said smiling.
"Is that a compliment?" I asked.
"Yeah! Sky, can I ask you something?" Cody said, looking nervous.
"Um, sure." I said, getting anxious myself.
"Will you go on a date with me?"
