It was a Saturday, when everyone is off from school, and parents were taking their afternoon stroll through parks with their children. The laugh of the children playing at the play area was lovely; happy screams and laughs were heard as they would slide down the slide or race to the top of the greenest hill found. The smell of flowers near the coffee shop were strong but a strong pleasant smell. The coffee shop was packed full of wanting customers, as they stood patiently in line to get their orders. It was hot outside, where you could pretty much see the heatwaves come off of the metal tables outside, thankfully in the coffee shop it was nice and cool. It was loud, full of conversations towards each other and the employees serving everyone.
A couple and a young girl came through the door, as the bell ringed. The parents were in rich luxury clothes, the mother wearing a black crop top which was almost see through and a short black skirt, so if she was ever to bend down and someone was behind her they'd definitely have a flash of something. and the father was muscular, very tall, at least six foot seven; the daughter who had long shiny brown hair, wore a flower patterned dress that went down to her shins, as it flowed in a suttle breeze from the cafes door from opening and shutting. She looked at her parents and smiled. "I would love to have a cup of hot chocolate and a chocolate muffin, can I have one please mother?" She said politely to her mother, and her father was deciding what he wants, he popped on his glasses to see the menu and hummed whilst scratching his head. The option were all delicious, it was hard to pick from such a selection of sweet foods and drinks. "Ah I would like a coffee with shortbread on the side, and you my dear?" The father handed over the menu to the mother as she put her sunglasses to the top of her head. "And I would like to have black coffee and an apple tart." The employee wrote everything down, as she gave the family their ticket.
"Oh mother this place is amazing. I can't wait to eat my chocolate muffin hehe." The mother walked over to the seat, as she held her arm around her daughter. The father stood patiently to collect the order. "So my dear, what do you think of this park?" The daughter smiled, "I LOVE IT. The flowers are so pleasant, the grass is really green too, even on a hot summers day." The mother placed her hand on her daughters hand, "Ah well I loved this park to when I was your age. Although there were a lot more better things back then. But they were all taken down and rebuilt. There was also another coffee shop on the other side of the park. But something tragic happened there, and it is definitely not a story to tell. I will tell you when you get a little older my dear." The father finally came back with all the food, the smell of the coffee was strong yet delicious. After the talk about the old café the daughter fell into curiosity, she really wanted to know what had happened back in her mothers days. It must have been so tragic that no one would want to talk about. She thought maybe she could search up on the internet to see what had happened.
As the family finished their sweet food, they headed out to the café, as the sun beamed down on their heads, almost singeing their hair off. They walked across and over the green hill, and past the lake, where the sun made the water look like a moving mirror. The water was so clear you could see the bottom of the lake, there was coins, fish and other species of creatures in there. There were people even swimming to. As it came to the end of the day, the family passe the forbidden area of the park, where the old café was. The window was boarded up, and glass was all scattered over the floor, even the plants looked diseased around it. It really gave off a sinister vibe. The children walking by looked at the derelict building, as they pointed to the building and asked their parents what happened. Raven who has the long flowery walked past with her parents as they didn't take one look at the building. Something must have happened so bad that no adult would want to tell their daughters or sons the real truth on why it shut down, and why keep a dangerous looking building up. Maybe this building had a deeper meaning as to why it couldn't be knocked down.
The exit to the park has finally come, the glorious extremely hot summers day has come to an end. Both Raven and her parents were nicely tanned. As they walked to their Audi, the heat waves on the car was scorching, you could more or less cook an egg on the roof of the car. Raven opened the door and the blast of hot air escaped. "Mother quick turn the AC on it's really hot in here. And the seat belt is to hot to touch too." The mother came to the back of the car to buckle up Raven. "Thank you mother. Let's go home now."
