Chapter 1 - The Journey Of The Captain

Many years ago, lived a young pirate called Dougie Poynter. Also known as Captain Dougwash to his crew members and here is the story of the famous Captain....

'We're going on a very special mission today crew! We're going to find ourselves some treasure!' Dougie announced to his crew members Danny, Harry, Tom, Alex and Jack. "Wheeeeeeeyyy!!!" They all cheered, raising their arms in the air.

"Well then, let's go!" Dougie said, walking over to the pirate wheel, Alex and Jack hoisting the flag and Tom opening up the sails. Danny just entertained everyone with his stupidity and surprisingly talented radio fixing, as the radio was always breaking. Eventually, they set sail and were off to their first destination - Skull Island. Unfortunately for them, it was quite a long way from where they lived so it took them about 5 hours to get there. When they did finally arrive there, they docked the ship and all stepped off it, creating the first ever pirate footsteps since the famous Blackbeard. The crew were all carrying the spades because obviously as Captain, you're not supposed to do any work.

Because they'd been travelling for so long, they thought it was a good idea to stop off at the first pub they saw on the island. Which, to be honest, wasn't really a good idea because they got pretty drunk pretty quickly....so you can probably guess how they ended up....All of a sudden, a girl walks in, instantly catching Dougie's eye. "Guys!! She's also a pirate!!" He whispered to the guys, looking excited. "Really? How can you tell?" Jack asked him.

"Oh my god Jack!! Isn't it obvious?! She's wearing a bandana for god sake!! Only girl pirates wear bandanas!! Did none of you read that book on Pirate History & Facts I gave you?!" Dougie asked in shock. They just shook their heads in confusion. "Uh don't worry then. But she is definately a pirate!" He added, still looking at the girl. She had short, dark brown hair; blue eyes and was wearing a short, layered dark red and black dress, black knee-length boots and of course a dark red bandana. She then made her way over to Dougie and his crew. "Hey. This seat taken?" She asked Dougie, smiling and pointing to the seat next to him. "Nope." He replied, trying not to make it obvious he was staring at her amazingly slim body. "Thanks." She said, sitting down on the stall and ordered a drink. "No problem. So if you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" Dougie asked her, sipping his drink, smiling. "Amy. You?" She replied, also sipping her drink. "Dougie. I'm the Captain of my crew here." He said, pointing to Danny, Tom, Harry, Jack and Alex. "Ah right. Sounds pretty cool! You here to look for buried treasure?" She asked, laughing. "Yepp. Although, we don't exactly know where we're going...We were kinda hoping to find some locals and ask them if they know the best place to look..." Dougie mentioned, kind of hinting at Amy. "Well maybe I could help? I've lived here pretty much all my life and I know the island pretty well so..." Amy replied, smiling and finishing her drink. "Yeah sure! Sounds like a deal. I'll even show you my ship if ya like?" He suggested, laughing. "Course!! I've never been on a proper ship before! My old one was just awful!! Honestly, it wasn't even a ship! It just looked like a crappy raft with a flag tied to it." Amy said, laughing. Dougie also laughed, almost spitting out his drink all over Amy. "Wow!! Well if you're finished, then I can show you now??" He asked. Amy nodded and left with Dougie, going to his ship.
