"Steve, wake up," Lauren whispered softly while shaking my shoulders. "Steven, Comic con starts in and hour.""That's great, Lauren," I responded, half asleep. I rolled over onto my back without opening my eyes and heard Lauren whisper something. Then, all of a sudden I felt something jump onto my stomach, making me shoot up.
"What was that for?" I asked lauren and Emmie who had jumped on me.
"Payback for all those times you woke me up early," Emmie laughed and went to turn on the TV.
I fell back on the pillows with a sigh, rubbing my eyes. "You okay?" Lauren asked and sat down next to me.
"Yep, just tired. Waking up early every single day is the worst part of this job," I replied. "How did you even manage to get Emmie up?"
She gave me a puzzled look. "I don't know, I just shook her awake and told her it was time to get up."
"I swear she likes you more than me," I muttered, making Lauren laugh. "But now that I think about it, what's not to like about you?" She smiled and leaned over to kiss me. "I'm gonna get ready."
She nodded and I got up and went to the bathroom, grabbing my clothes on the way there. After I took a quick shower and got dressed, Lauren came in to do her makeup.
"Dad, I'm hungry," Emmie said.
"We don't have time to go get breakfast so we will eat when we get there," I told her. "For now....eat this." I grabbed a protein bae from my bag and tossed it to her.
"Ew," she said and gave it back to me. "No thanks."
I laughed and sat down next to her. "Em, you know there's gonna be lots of photographers and fans taking pictures just like always. I know you get freaked out by the photographers but they won't hurt you, so don't be afraid of them. Just stop and smile a couple of times."
"M'kay, daddy," she said.
"Now come on, we need to go," I said and she gabbed her bag.

We drove around to the back of the building where their were no fans so we would actually be able to get inside the building. Then, the three of us walked through the back door and into a lounge room where no fans or photographers could go.
As soon as we walked in, Emily attacked Lauren with a hug. It was the normal hugs, hellos, and how's it going until Greg came in.
"Alright! Today's pannal starts soon so be backstage and ready to go. After that is autographs, then a break, and finally photo ops," Greg said while reading off a piece of paper before exiting again.
"Should we tell everyone about us?" I asked Lauren in a quiet whisper.
"I'm not sure. Not even the cast knows but I think we should wait to tell them until we announce it," she replied.
"Okay, let's just enjoy the day and not worry about it," I said with a nod.
Once everyone but Lauren and I left the lounge, I quickly shut the door and leaned my back against it. "Whatcha doing?" Lauren asked.
"I just need one thing before we go out there," I said and she smiled. My hand lightly caressed her check and brought her face to mine, our noses brushing past each other before our lips met. It was a good ten seconds before we finally pulled away.
That's when someone tried to open the door.
"Whatever the hell you two are doing in there, stop andget out here!" Alanna yelled through the door. Lauren laughed into my shoulder as she hugged my waist.
We opened the door and went backstage to where everyone else was.
"Emmie, I'll find you a chair for to sit in backstage," I said and Emmie nodded.
As soon as we entered the backstage area, we could hear the crowd and it made me a bit nervous like always.
"Are you guys ready?!" Chris (talking dead show host) yelled, earning a loud cheer from the crowd. "Here they are, Andrew Lincon, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Norman Reedus, Emily Kinney, Alanna Masterson, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, and finally Chandler Riggs!" The audience went crazy as we all sat down. "Wow....that was a mouthful," Chris said after the fans claimed down.
*Lauren's POV*
It was the normal questions and answers for the first twenty minutes and Steven and I were secretly holding hands under the table the whole time.
Chris then looked backstage and saw Emmie. "Who's that back there?" He asked.
"Oh that's my daughter Emmie," Steven said.
"Oh yeah! She was backstage that one time when you were on talking dead," Chris said. "Why don't you bring her out here? Should you guys like that?"
The crowd went crazy. "Alright," Steven said. "Emmie!" He called out. Emmie has her headphones in and was looking at her phone so she couldn't hear. "Emmie!"
"EMERSON YEUN!" Norman yelled through the microphone, making Emmie look up. "Come here!"
She gave us a confused look as she put down her stuff and walked out on stage, making the crowd cheer. Emmie came over and passed Steven to sit on my lap since there were no other chairs.
"Wait, wait, wait," Steven said. "You're sitting with Lauren over me?"
"Yep!" She said through the microphone.
"Well would I be your second choice?" He asked and Emmie shook her head. "Who's your second choice?!"
"Norman," she said with a smile.
"Yes! Suck it Steven!" Norman yelled and stood up.
Stven rolled his eyes. "Am I your third choice?"
"If you stop asking me then sure," Emmie said. When Steven looked away she mouthed no and then pointed to Alanna as her third choice. Steven looked at her and she smiled as if nothing had happened. The audience laughed at the conversation along with te rest of the cast.
"Emmie how old are you?" Chris asked, still laughing.
She leaned over to the microphone. "I'm nine." The fans all awed. "Are they going to do that everytime I say something?"
"Probably," I said.
After that, mostly all the questions were directed towards Emmie and Norman since Daryl is the favorite until the end of the panal.
The crowd cheered as we all waved and left the stage. Steven looked around and made sure nobody was looking before quickly pecking me on the lips.
I let out a fake gasp. "You rebel, kissing me in public."
"I'm just that kinda guy," he joked and kissed me once more.
