A troubled mind deemed in silence.
Words trapped longing to esacape.
Constantly reminded of her insolence
Their judging eyes on her nape.
Love and acceptance are her only plea
But her wish to please, drowns her self worth
Leaving an aching heart they can never see.
Her pain hidden away, grows in girth
As her deteriorating mental health takes control.
Love of a mother who needs her dearly
But hurts her more, she can't help but act a fool.
These words have killed her nearly.
A tender heart and a shining soul
Only left for those to trample,
Her mind no longer whole,
But her love for others is ample.
To ask for help, she would be shunned.
For her - HOPE - there is none.
Oh, how they would all be stunned,
She thinks as she watches the blood run.
