Chapter 2 - The Captain's Ship

"So this is my ship." Dougie said to Amy, smiling and walking around the ship. "Wow!! This is amazing!" Amy gasped, looking round the ship. All of a sudden, two lizards came running out from Captain's Quarters. Amy quickly jumped, letting out a huge burst of laughter. "You keep lizards?!" She asked in shock. "Course I do!! I used to breed them when I was 15, but then I kinda gave up breeding them as I got older." Dougie laughed, picking up the lizards and putting one on each shoulder. "Awww!! You seem to have a love of lizards then?" Amy asked, curiously, stroking one of them. "Yeah!! Do you wanna hold one?" He asked, pointing to one of them. "Yeah sure!" Amy agreed, holding her hands out and Dougie gently placed one in her hands. "Is this one a boy or a girl?" She asked, stroking it. "Girl. Her name's Eve. The other one here is her 'boyfriend' Adam." He said, laughing. "I got them both at the same time, but they're not brother and sister so..." He added and Amy laughed. Danny, Tom, Harry, Jack and Alex came back from the pub, going to their posts on the ship. "Thanks again for agreeing to help us Amy. The boys here are just double checking everything, then we can search the island." Dougie said, smiling.

The crew eventually finished double checking everything and then everyone left the ship, following Amy to the crucial spot where they think might be treasure. "Right guys, get digging! It's gonna take you a while, but it'll be worth it if we find anything." Amy ordered the guys to start digging, sitting down on the sand with Dougie as the crew started digging for treasure.

3 hours had passed and they crew had finally finished digging. Sadly though....they found nothing....but when it came to telling the Captain, he wasn't so happy.... "WHAT?! WE CAME ALL THE WAY HERE TO DIG FOR 3 HOURS AND FIND NOTHING?!" Dougie yelled at them, his face going slightly red. "Mate we're sorry! We tried our best but there's just nothing!" Danny said, apologetically. "But we did find this..." Jack said, handing Dougie a piece of paper with writing on. It read 'The treasure is not here...it is somewhere else...somewhere close to the heart... Captain Kidd' "Captain Kidd?! He wrote this?! Guys do you know what this means?! This means that Captain Kidd must also be looking for the same treasure!! Maybe if we can find him, we could find the treasure!" Dougie suggested, everyone nodding in agreement. "Well come on then Captain! Let's find him!!" Amy said, laughing and they all got aboard the ship again, setting sail to the next island.
