Erica : Hi, I'm Erica and you're watching billboard.
Jennifer Herman : Hi I'm Jennifer Herman here for Billboard and I am here with Erica so.
Erica : Hi guys!
Jennifer Herman : Hi, so how are you doing?
Erica : I'm good, thank you.
Jennifer Herman : So you just released your mini-album 'only you' and it's doing so well and amazingly. So the song itself is called only you so what did you want people to take away from it?
Erica : First of all thank you. Well I wanted to approach a concept that many dream of, a long standing love story that transcends everything and leaves you being happy. So I hope the listeners can embrace the message and enjoy the song as much as I did.
Jennifer Herman : The song did extremely well. Went to top 100 on billboard charts in U.S along with daylight. So how did that make you feel?
Erica : Well. when I first heard the news I couldn't believe it, I was like, no way. I was very surprised that so many people around the world had actually listened to my song, and they were being very supportive and they loved the song. I was so grateful, and I'm still very thankful.
Jennifer Herman : So, you know, there is all the visual elements to it, and there's the performance element, and there's the song itself, so what was your favorite memory throughout this whole process?
Erica : Well, as many people know all the songs were composed by me alone with a little help from team and it was my very first time doing so. Throughout the whole process I learned a lot of things it was a great experience. There were many sleepless nights and lots of blood,sweat and tears of me and my team, but after watching all the love songs received I felt truly happy.
Jennifer Herman : So you know the song 'only you' is a sweet love song about growing old with your soulmate, so like, what do you look for in a ideal relationship?
Erica : Uh being with someone I can just genuinely relax around who's company I look foward to at the end of the day. Someone who brings out the best in me, and who I can bring the best out of, yeah haha.
Jennifer Herman : You have a busy life, so what do you do in your free time?
Erica : mm hm. Everything's been crazy with my schedule. I had a concert in Seoul and I've been going in & out everywhere. I am preparing something yeah haha you all will have to wait for that. But yeah when I do have time any free time I just, I think I just rest and relax at home.
Jennifer Herman : Hopefully you get a lot of rest in near future, and we are looking forward to what you planned for us. Do you want to say anything to U.S billboard audience?
