Once we arrived at the Phytiver Castle I'm shocked at how humongous it is from the gates one can imagine the grandeur and historical significance
The PHYTER history books tells that the PHYTIVERS has ruled these lands for over a ten thousand years,phyter springs was just a waste land Grodric phytiver and his family toiled and built the very first walls and then this castle it was exquisite the statues and gargoyles sitting at the tip of the castle gates "well I think they are gargoyles "😶😶😳...Lycans !. I turn to Zara Huh!. Excuse me did you say something Zara?
I ask not sure I heard her correctly...
I said they're Lycans....Ohh so were
wolves I say to her and she shakes her head at me,not were wolves but Lycans they are not the same Bella werewolves are smaller.....Oh!.. is all I reply...most people put up gargoyles not Lycans,I guess PHYTER springs has it's own legend like any other town.
I see carriages as in actually carriages stop at the stairs as footman help the young ladies down,and Zara was right the gowns these girls are wearing are too outrageous some are so provocative I was blushing just staring at them, the reporters are snapping away and am so grateful for my mask because I'm extremely camera shy.
The ladies walk up the red carpet,they have their heads held high like actual princesses with tiaras of varying sizes,I admire the exquisite design of the gardens,as we wait our turn this place is enchanting.

XEVIAS POV

I'm dressed and at the top of the inner balcony looking below as my castle becomes invaded by giggling teenage girls,over pampered princesses, University singles,and I cringe....why is the moon goddess doing this to me the thought of dancing with anyone down there is nauseating.
It's just one night a year brother Desmond says and I feel like throwing him off the balcony just to shut him up
If I dont find her tonight I wont bother with a Luna ball ever again I growl at no one in particular,I'm done with this charade,Mark starts listing potential prospects and then I perceive it the most enchanting smell ever,ny wolf is so excited I can barely control him,Shes here I say to no while I move closer to the railings trying to sniff where its coming from.
I put on my mask which is dark blue almost black just like my suit Desmond keeps searching the crowd to find her...I walk down the steps avoiding princesses who step forward thinking am approaching them I growl and everyone stands still while I walk towards the ethereal fragrance of my mate,then I see her she is standing next to a werewolf,she is admiring the decor and totally ignoring me....my eyes fall on the male beside her I sniff the air and my wolf is mad we both recognise his smell its the same one I perceived on her,in by the lake and I growl so fiercely that he jolts and immediately bows down his hands on his heart a greeting only used by the PHYTER force a she wolf wearing matching colours to him runs to his side and bows as well.
My mate is looking at me with shock and fear in her eyes and I get really pissed "Why is she scared of me can't she see it me doesn't see recognise her mate?"

ISABELLA'S POV

We step into what seems to be the main hall and I gasp at the sheer beauty of this place,I thought the outer had was grand but this place takes the cake Jean is in between Zara and I,he actually introduced himself and Zara as my protectors and I giggled causing the man with the clipboard to look at us strangely......I am lost inthe beauty of the castle then I hear an animalistic growl and Jean's whole being jolts before he falls to his knees hands on his heart Zara was beside him a flas6but shed doing the same and so is every one here i look up see a giant walking towards us he stands a little close to me and although he has a mask on i could tell...No feel the anger coming off of him...I'm scared and step back a little and i hear the growling again and notice that its coming from the giant,Oookay no stepping back again or he might actually turn into a beast!!.. what is he ,Who is he?...and why am I suddenly attracted to him,he has the most dreamy green eye ive ever seen his lips hmm sculptured to for kissing he looked wild and a hell of a lot sexy I'm so drawn to him I can't pull back ,he feels so familiar like his MINE,yet I know that I've never met him before,I'm staring at him like a fool in heat... Damn am I supposed to do something, Zara told me to curtsie,when or if I meet the king,is this him? He certainly carries himself as one .
He bows to me and introduces himself and his voice is so familiar soothing.

I put my hands in his and feel a spark where our fingers touch which is odd since we are both wearing gloves.
The band plays a classical waltzes and am grateful for my lessons when we lived in New York..
We dance twirling and turning dipping when appropriate, then a tango and then hes walking me to one of the balconies he grasps two drinks from a waiter who nearly has a heart attack when he noticed who he was......
We are outside looking out sometime while we were dancing darkness fell I look at my wrist watch and not6 its already eight pm.....You never gave me your name butterfly he says adjusting my butterfly hair comb....Er its Bella, Isabella Streaks...I hear his gasps and look at him he takes of his mask and I'm gawking at the most handsome face I'd ever seen,...Streaks?...as in Henry Straeks daughter?... Er yeah you know my dad?.. I ask he looks too young to be friends with my dad but he's answer shocked me ....Yes were grew up together I helped him build your home my part was the ground floor bedroom and bathroom.....That's my room now I say all excited and he smiles, I am glad you like it Isabella....I just love the way my game rules off his sexy lips..or should I call you DESIREE....damn I like that even better...
Desiree may I kiss you?.. y..yes you maybe leans in and my eyes flutter close his intoxicating smell pulling me in ,but then we are interrupted by some one.
Desmond told me I'd find you here Xavier its bee5 a while,I hear him curse under his breath as he pull away and I'm disappointed and shocked at my self and reaction to him....
I turn to see a beautiful woman inthe most skimpy gown I've ever seen in my life....
Lena why are you hear I ask irritated at her terrible timing, she walks towards me and throws herself at me planting a wet kiss on my and before I can react I see my mate running out of the balcony
I immediately untangle Lena's hands from my neck Phyro showing himself without my knowledge pushing off me in a not so gently way she falls in a heap on the ground.
I feel invaded and bellow at my head security for allowing her close to my mate and I as I try to run after my now very angry mate,I can feel Desiree's disappointment and confusion at what she just witnessed, lena is shout from the floor of my balcony and I growl at her ..."let her go Xavia she's not meant for our world she is just a weak human, she cannot rule beside you only I can"
I turn to the delusional Lycans she continues her rants "ive been trained to take up the rule of luna all my life Xavia.
YOU WILL NEVER BE MY LUNA LENA i tell her as jump down from the eigth floor of the castle in an attempt to catch my mate,but she is nowhere to be found.
I shift and start running into the woods trying to reach her home I can't believe shes Henry's daughter I mind link my Beta to get Henry to report to the castle asap,the others to get me a change of clothes I wouldn't want my love to have a heart attack seeing me at her door step naked.
