This is some info on hanma and mikeys relationship for a dark toman Mikey fic I'm working on(I thought of all of this in 1 minute)

Mikey was having a rough night with his night terrors(not nightmares and yes there is a difference) so he went to the roof of the apartment complex that’s in tomans building(5 story building) and mikey didn’t know what to do till hanma popped up in his mind and he complimented calling him or not until he did

Now I bet your wondering “why call hanma and not chifuyu since they’re dating?”

Well hanma and mikey are fuck buddies and actually have a very strong trusting bond even if they hardly show it also mikey and chifuyu aren’t dating they’re close friends at best but yes mikey does have a slight crush on chifuyu but pushes it deep inside of him and ignores it(another reason he and hanma are fuck budies)

The reason mikey uses hanma’s first name is to indicate how close they actually are and yes mikey allows hanma to call him by his first name aswell but hanma prefers his nicknames instead hanma especially favours “raven” and “Mikey” as mikey’s main nicknames but uses “blondie” and “little blonde” just as much

“Why does hanma call mikey raven” raven is mikey’s main nickname with hanma as mikey’s hair is as black as a raven but also due to the fact ravens are mikey and hanma’s favourite animal and that ravens are one two birds that are the sign of death(all birds are signs between life and death but only crows and ravens are deaths birds) and as to why hanma calls mikey “blondie/little blonde” is to remind mikey of his past and his good memories as his hair was always blonde and the black hair was the start of mikey’s real torture but sometimes in very rare or serious occasions will hanma call Mikey “manjirou”

“Do hanma and mikey have a healthy relationship?” No they don’t they’re relationship is quite toxic even if they don’t mean for it to ofcourse it’s expected as they’re basically in the yakuza but they do try and even if there relationship is just sexual or to let off steam they do care for each other and try to understand eachother and will comfort one another when needed

Also hanma has stopped mikey from committing suicide multiple times on different occasions
