*NICOLE’s POV.
My heart trembled when I saw Ace fight with Jerome because of that weak girl. That bitch is getting into my nerves.
I don’t even know what’s her background. Is she rich? Why does Ace always stick with her?
“ This is so annoying,” I said.
I got goosebumps when someone dragged me inside this empty room.
“ What did you say to Mariel? ” Jeremiah said and he hold my wrist too tight.
So, he dragged me for that? Jerk.
“ Gosh, it hurts.” I groaned because of how tight he pinched my wrist.
“ Don’t you dare to hurt her, Nicole.” He said and stares at me like he wanted to kill me.
I felt that my heart would crack because of how it hurt on the inside.
I thought my feelings for him faded away? But why do I still feel the pain inside me?
“ You’re always hurting my feelings,” I uttered and my tears slowly flow down my cheeks.
Did I just cry? What’s happening to me?
He let my hand go and said, “ I’m sorry.” and he walk away and leave me in this room.
“ You’ll regret doing this to me, Jeremiah,” I said while looking at him far away.
I wipe my tears.
“ This is all your fault, Mariel. I’m not done with you. Be happy for now, because tomorrow or another day, you’ll suffer.” I said and put an evil smile on my face.
*KRISTOFF POV.
“ Did you see his face when they fought with his brother? He was about to eat him and kill him. Gosh, he’s scary.” Josh said.
Everyone in this school knows that Jerome and Ace are step-brothers. They have the same mom but a different dad.
“ I’m lucky that my feelings for Mariel have already gone.” He confidently said.
“ I know you’re lying, my brother.” I calmly said.
“ What do you mean? ” He asked and raises his brows.
“ You still like her, but you’re scared of Ace. I'm your brother and I know you too well.” I added.
“ Aysh, you’re right. I’m doing my best to forget her.” He responds.
“ Go on, bro. I’ll support you.” I mocked him and he glared at me.
“ Oh, hey Jere. What happened? ” Josh asked him, but we didn’t receive any response coming from him.
Based on his expression, he’s totally worried about what happened earlier. Not for Ace or Jerome. He’s worried about Mariel.
I can easily read their minds and feel their feelings.
I don’t know what will happen in the future, but I hope that our friendships will stay. I hope no one will change and will leave. I hope that our chaotic life will change into happiness, fondness, and forgiveness.
