*JOSH’s POV
“ God. She really looks so hot.” Jeremiah said while looking at Mariel.
Can’t deny the fact that Mariel is stunning and hot.
“ My kate is way hot.” I confidently said.
“ Naa na day label?” Jeremiah asked and my brother Kristof laughed.
“ Psh. Importante pa diay na? ” I said and wave at Kate and she waved back at me.
Ghad. I didn’t expect that i’m gonna fall inlove with her.
[ FLASBACKS ]
“ Hey, I’m sorry.” tawag niya sa akoa ug wala ko nipatuo.
I’m so mad at her about what she said earlier.
“ Ouch—” I heard her groaned ug ga dali-dali kog balik gi-duolan siya.
She laughs and smirk at me.
“ I got you.” she said and hold my hands.
Why do my heart beat so fast?
She touch my chest and said, “ I don’t know, but my heart beat so hard everytime I see you.”
I was stuck and my whole got freeze when she says those words. What does that mean?
“ I’m sorry if I kicked you egg balls. I was nervous that time and—” she explain and I stopped her.
This is so embarrassing.
“ Okay, fine.” I said and she smiles at me.
“ Do you like me? ” I asked and she smiles again.
Damn that smiles. She looks so cute.
“ No.” She responds and I’m not shocked. I already know that I’m not his type.
“ But there’s a possibility that I can like you.” She added and my eyes got widened.
So, do I have a chance?
“ You’re my type.” She says and it gives me butterflies.
Many girls say this to me but she hits different. I want her.

Since that day, I pursue and courted her until now. I don’t care how many months or years, as long as she’s with me. I’m contented with that.
“ Hey! ” Kristof shouted at me.
“ Aysh, panira ka.” I respond.
“ What were you thinking, idiot? ” He asked. He always mocked me.
“ What did you say? Me? Idiot? ” I raised my voice.
“ Quiet.” Ace said and we stop.
I look at him. He seems serious and he acts differently to this day. I wonder what is he thinking.
* ACE KENNETH’s POV.
[ FLASHBACKS]
“ What do you want? ” I bored asked him. It’s Jerome.
His face becomes serious.
“ Do me a favor for just one day.” He responds.
“ Are you kidding me?” I said and looking at my watch.
It’s already 12:30 pm. Mariel’s game will start later. I have to go now.
“ Let me talk to Mariel.” He sincerely said.
Is he freaking out of his mind?
“ No, ” I immediately respond.
“ Please, just tomorrow. I’m going to Canada next week. Let me talk to her.” He added and I raise my brows.
He’s going to Canada?
“ You are leaving? Why? ” I asked.
“ For peace.” He quickly responds.
I’m gonna miss this boy. I hate him but that doesn’t mean I don’t care about him anymore.
“ Okay.” I agree. His face was so shocked.
“ But you have to win in basketball, deal?” I added.
“ Deal.” He answered.
He's going to play basketball later. By judging his face, he’s willing to do everything for Mariel.
[ END OF FLASHBACKS]
I don’t know what is he planning to do tomorrow with Mariel. I can clearly sense that he still has feelings for Mariel, but I trusted him. He knows how much I like Mariel.
I want them to be friends ug istoryahan ang ilang kaagi para mawala ang hinanakit nila sa usa’t usa.
I look at Mariel. She’s enjoying while playing volleyball. I love everything about her. Gusto nako siya ma uyab pero mas gusto nako siya ma asawa in the future.
“ I’ll wait, Mariel.” I lowered my voice so that no one can hear what I say.
I’m willing to wait no matter how many years. Anything for you, Mariel.
