First time ever working with someone on patrol, I wont lie its nice but I have a certain pattern I work in I don't know if he can keep up with it.. since he's new and all but he seems just fine we have already caught 2 robbers so we are off to a good start, "So this is what its like huh?" Andrew said out of breathe, we where following some criminals into a alley way "Yep, hell innit?" I laughed leaning against a wall trying to catch my breathe "Why'd we stop?" He asked I called for back up there's no way in hell we could of ever caught up with them" I said getting out two bottles of water and passing one to him he nodded while taking the bottle of water and taking a sip, "So what made you wanna become hero?" I asked drinking my water, "Not much wanting to save people stop villains the normal stuff, how about you?" He said "Good reasoning, I grew up with two hero mums, you know the two heros called Gods?" He nodded and I continued "Both are my mums, I dont really tell many this but my dead name is actually hera, I always thought it would offend the goddess so i pinned my discomfort on the name on that not that I was trans, in secondary I found out I was trans I didn't come out until my last year. One of my mother's hated the thought of me changing my name while the other was okay with it and helped me, hence the name Apollo, I like Greek Gods so I chose it," as I finished I saw andrew tearing up, "Dude that's the saddest shit I've ever heard" he said putting his hand to his mouth "It's not that sad" I laughed "The mum who didn't mind me changing my name was forced to become a hero" I said rubbing the back of neck "Bro thats. Your family. I am too stunned to speak.." He said I giggled, "it's time for us to head back" I said putting my half empty bottle in my small bag, we walked in wonderful silence all the way back
