This is my story. The story of how I became Heatray and my life afterward. It all started with a dream I had at only five or six years old. And my imaginary friend, Angelica. Somehow I never forgot. In the dream there was nothing but light. Kind of like an empty universe. I was in some sort of pod or chamber. There was a girl. She was speaking to me, but the only words I could make out were "Will we ever see each other again?". My imaginary friend as a girl my age. White skin, black hair, and green eyes. I had forgotten about her by 8. I wouldn't give this dream any thought though until I was 11. I was in a new home with no friends. Suddenly one day this kid approaches me and we have a small conversation. This continued for about a week. I thought he was weird and a little annoying at first, but he grew on me. I didn't want to admit it at the time, but we were very much alike. Then one day he told me he had remembered a dream he had when he was five or six years old. He described the same dream I had. The details were almost one hundred percent on point. I knew this would not have been a mere coincidence. This was fate.
Soon we would end up going to church together and after the first time he told me about something he learned about called The Spiritual Realm. Now always searching for the extraordinary I was incredibly interested. He told me about God's Divine Council and humans who could fight off evil spirits. I was filled with excitement. So I began to do my own research. As a result I started having odd dreams. A mystery woman would speak to me in a place I have never been. It looked heavenly. She would talk about how my destiny is one full opportunity and how life is more than meets the eye. She said I would have much to learn. Then one night it was different. I was in a pitch black space and a ball of light appeared. The same voice from before spoke. "Time to wake up. You'll take on a new form. You'll be given a new name of your choosing." Obviously shocked, my brain froze for a moment. Taking it all in. Although I was interested, I went with it. "How about... Heatray." The Woman seemed surprised. She then replied "That name suits you. It's unique. Now for your element. There are several. Concentrate and one will stand out to you. It may feel as if it's calling to you." I cleared my mind and focused hard. It didn't take long. "I choose fire." I stated. She smiled and said "Of course. On this day the Spirit Of Fire is born. Like the Phoenix. Oh and one more thing..." Light forms around my body. When the light vanished I was wearing black shorts, a black hood, a black t-shirt, black boots, and black gloves. "Now you make awaken my child." She states. A splash of colorful lights filled the once empty space and then nothing.
I awoke in a pod on top of a tower. I saw my friend accompanied by an almost angelic looking knight. He was the first to speak. "I am Providence. I have been sent by the angels themselves to make sure your awakening went well and to get you started without a hitch. This is a Nexus Tower. All minds and dreams alike can be connected through these points. You two have been given a chance to live extraordinary lives. Of course it's all up to you. After today your destiny is in your hands. Flamekid and Heatray. Humans given a chance to defend the Spiritual Realm and with the experience and knowledge you'll gain you can spark change in all the realms. Now follow me and I'll get you kids adjusted." Providence finished. Me and Flamekid just looked at each other surprised. We could not think of any words for the situation. What I did know was that this day would change everything. My life would never be the same. Everything I wanted. At least I thought. I hoped. We soon ended up in what looked like a cathedral. Place was huge. On the back wall there were balconies with thorns on them. Seven thrones, but only 6 people to match. There was a symbol on the wall above all of them. Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Light, Darkness, and a mystery one. I couldn't think of what the last one was. Flamekid must of seen me studying them because he walked up to me and whispered, "I think that last one is Spirit." Providence heard and pitched in, "Correct. You've kids of done you homework. Good that saves us some time. They are the Guardians. Each one representing a single element of the seven. Of course by now you've noticed one is missing. The Guardian of Darkness.
