MJ looked through her closet and ended up finding something that did not feel too fancy. It was a long dress, but paired with a jean jacket it looked just okay.

The last time she had worn it was to an opera in Prague. She couldn't remember much about Prague. She didn't remember what play they even saw.

MJ furrowed her brow a little bit. It must be trauma - they had been in London when the Spider-Man thing hit... and the Nightmonkey thing...

She shook her head. No, that wasn't the time for it now.

"So I got the finishing touches on our presentation," Ned said. They were on facetime while MJ looked up the last few changes that he had done. They were supposed to recruit new members for the Decathlon team. "And, urgh, well..."

"Well what?"

"Our team picture doesn't look good - there seems to be a small blur on many pics, so we'll have to take the old one with Liz in it."

"That's...okay," MJ grimaced. It wasn't that she didn't like Liz, but it was an old photo. At least two... no five years old. It was either that or take a picture from the time they were blipped. "I mean whatever is good, right?"

"Yeah," Ned didn't seem too enthusiastic about it. Any reminder of them being blipped caused pain. Ned and MJ were lucky that they were blipped together, along with many of their other friends but MJ's parents stayed behind. When MJ came back, she had to deal with the fallout of five years she had missed.

"So, are you excited about Rogers?" Ned said in a sing-songy voice.

"How did you even get the tickets and why don't you want them?" Michelle raised an eyebrow.

"Idk, I think I got them off a dude in the Decathlon team. I was supposed to go with him but..." Ned frowned. "Something came up."

"How do you know it's not a scam?"

"It's not a scam."

"We're at a Science school, everything can be a scam."

"Just believe me they work, alright?" Ned exclaimed. "And you'll be going with Peter. He seems cool."

"He seems stressed if you ask me - not that I am observing."

"Of course you're not," Ned grinned. "Don't think I don't see your face whenever he comes and goes on the way to work."

"I don't stare."

"I didn't say you stared."

"I'll hang up if you say another thing," MJ threatened and Ned held up his hands.
"Okay, okay. But I'm just saying. You two would be great – romantic or not."
"I barely know him."

"And yet you asked him out to the musical –"

"and you asked him to ask me, so who is the real player here?"

"There's just something about him that seems familiar and maybe you can figure it out because you are the biggest detective I know. Why else would have have bought yourself the necklace in Italy?"

MJ frowned. "I got this necklace in London."

"Really?" Ned seemed confused. MJ could hear his lola yell something in tbe background. Ned answered back.

"Listen, I gotta go," Ned sighed. "I'll see you on Monday, alright?"

"Alright."

MJ took a piece of marker and wrote it on her board. Ned was right. There was something about Peter that didn't seem to make sense to her , so she wrote it down on a board. MJ caught herself being a little obsessive sometimes and it may seem ...
