Chapter 3

I walk towards my front door, where my uncle is suddenly standing. ''Uncle what are you doing here?'' ''Ah Ri, there you are I was looking for you and I had called you too but you didn't answer.'' ''Oh, but why are you looking for me?'' ''Go in and you'll see, but please don't get angry.'' It confused me a bit, but it can't be that bad, right? I put the key in the keyhole and open the door.

I didn't know this would give me such a shock. There seriously for me, right in front of me are my parents and brothers, Pedro and Fernando have all grown so much. Am I dreaming? I blink and squeeze my arm, but I just feel it. ''This can't be real.'' I whisper to myself. This isn't real, this can't be. I didn't even realize that Pedro is hugging me tightly now. I'm still in shock, but I hug him back. We both burst into tears. ''Ri, I missed you so much. I've been thinking about you every day and now I'm never going to let you disappear out my life again.'' he whispers. ''Pep, I missed you too. But you're not alone.'' He let me go and I meet my parents' eyes.

I also hugged them tightly, after the emotional moment I lead them to the living room. ''Just sit on the couch, I want an explanation now.'' My parents look at each other for a moment and start talking. ''You know why we had to let you go. After our decision we immediately regretted it, we wanted to call you. But we thought you'd get angry and not want to talk to us anymore. It was different without you in the house, we thought about you every day and we don't want to make this mistake again.'' Pedro continues, saying, "That's why we came up with the idea of coming here for your 18th birthday and surprise you." "Why would you guys think I was going to get mad at you? I would have been happy to hear your voices again. When I moved to Barcelona it didn't get much better either, I made a best friend but I lost him when I had to move again. I'm happy enough that you're all sitting in front of me in person right now.'' A long silence continues, no one dares to say anything.

Fernando broke the silence, ''Uh we, me and Pedro have a gift for you and we hope you like it.'' Fer walks to the hallway and comes back with an envelope, he hands it to me and sits down again. I open it and take out 1 piece of paper, A TICKET TO THE FOOTBALL MATCH OF FC BARCELONA?! RIGHT ON MY BIRTHDAY! AND ALSO THE BEST PLACE! A big smile appears on my face, I look at my brothers and fly around their necks. ''THANK YOU GUYS!'' It's really been 6 years since I've been there, I do miss Camp Nou. I really feel at home there, watching a game is quite possible, right? I don't play at myself so the chance isn't big that it will bring bad luck right? and Maybe I'll see Pablo again...

But this is not everything, ''This is not everything Auri, we are going to Barcelona tomorrow.'' ''Tomorrow? I haven't packed anything yet I haven't packed anything yet.'' I start to panic, I jump off the couch and start running to my bedroom. But when I get there, my suitcase is already packed. The rest of the evening we picked up all kinds of stories from the past and it was nice to be back with my Familia.
