You were sat on the porch watching your ten year old son play football with Jalen while your two year old daughter colored on the ground In front of you.
"Mama." Your daughter called causing you to look away from the boys and towards your little girl.
"Hmm?" You hummed.
"I don't fink that he likes that game." She smiled as she pointed to her brother.
"I don't think he does either." You chuckled.
"Why does daddy make him play it then?" She asked as she stood up.
"Daddy doesn't know he doesn't like that game." You smiled down at her.
"I go tell him." She told you as she started to make her way down the steps.
You quickly stood up grabbing her before she could go any further.
"Mama! Let me go!" She whined.
"You can't run out there honey, you're gonna get hurt." You told her as you held her back.
"Mama I is two! I'm a big girl!" She told you holding up two fingers in your face.
"That doesn't mean you won't get hurt." You told her.
"Fine." She sighed as she quit struggling in your arms.
"He wants to play the game with the bat!" Y/d/n sighed.
"Baseball?" You questioned as you watched Jalen and Y/s/n play.
"Yes! That's his favorite game! He's told me!" She smiled excitedly.
"I guess we should tell daddy then huh?" You asked.
"Yes!" She started clapping her hands.
You stood up holding her in your arms as you made your way down the porch steps and into the yard catching Jalen's attention.
"Hey baby." Jalen walked up and pressed a quick kiss to your lips.
"Hey princess." He smiled at Y/d/n as he took her from you.
"Daddy!" She giggled as Jalen attacked her face in kisses.

"Hey sweetheart." You smiled at your son as you made your way towards him.
"Hey momma." He smiled when you ruffled his hair.
"Y/d/n told me you don't like football." You told him.
"Please don't tell dad!" He begged.
"He'll be crushed!" He added.
"Baby, you don't have to like football." You laughed.
"I didn't even watch football until I met your dad." You told him as you sat in the grass next to him.
"I just feel bad, he loves football! He wants me to love football! I don't mind it but I wanna play baseball!" He sighed laying his head on your shoulder.
"Well if you don't tell him Y/d/n/n is gonna tell him." You laid your head on top of his.
"She can't keep any secrets." Y/s/n rolled his eyes.
"She's two." You laughed.
"She doesn't tell you when she thinks someone's cute!" He argued.
"She thinks someone's cute?" You questioned.
"Yeah." He rolled his eyes
"She has a crush on one of dads teammates." He laughed.
"How does she even know what a crush is?" You asked as you watched Jalen chase Y/d/n around the yard.
"No clue." He sighed.
There was a few seconds of silence before you broke it.
"Who is it?" You wondered.
"DeVonta." He told you.
A loud laugh escaped your lips as you lifted your head off of your sons shoulder and fell backwards laughing.
Y/s/n smiled and before he knew it he was in the grass laughing with you.
"Hey what's so funny?" Jalen asked as he made his way over to the two of you.
"Yeah what is you guys laughing at?" Y/d/n asked as she ran over to you.
"Y/d/n has a crush." You giggled as you looked up at Jalen.
"She's two!" Jalen said looking at you in disbelief.
"Y/s/n!" Your daughter yelled as she went to attack him.
Jalen was quick to grab her as your son continued to laugh hysterically.
"Y/d/n/n has a crush on DeVonta." You laughed.
"Smith?" Jalen asked in disbelief.
You nodded your head laughing to hard to form words.
Y/d/n buried her head in Jalen's neck as she hid her red cheeks from the three of you.
"DeVonta huh?" Jalen whispered to her.
"Daddy." She groaned.
Jalen laughed setting her down, she immediately went for her brother again.
"Why'd you tell mommy that!" She yelled.
"I'm sorry!" He laughed.
Y/d/n spun around facing her dad.
"Y/s/n doesn't like football." She stuck her tongue out at Y/s/n.
"You don't?" Jalen asked.
"I'm sorry." Y/s/n sighed.
"Hey don't apologize." Jalen sat down next to him.
"What do you like?" Jalen asked.
"He likes baseball! It's his favorite!" Y/d/n smiled as she made herself comfortable in your lap.
"You any good?" Jalen asked Y/s/n.
Y/s/n nodded eagerly.
"Let's see what you got." Jalen told him ruffling his hair.
"Okay!" He smiled.
"See he's not sad or mad!" You smiled down at your son.
"Thanks mom." He smiled giving you a side hug.
"No problem baby." You laughed as he got up to go play baseball.

"Now what am I gonna do with you?" You asked looking down at your daughter.
She quickly put her hands over her face giggling.
"Having a crush is one thing, but having a crush on a man twice your age." You gave her a look.
"He's my favorite!" She smiled.
"You're sneaky, that's why you always ask to join in when they're practicing." You laughed as you thought of all the times she'd wanted to be near DeVonta.
Again she covered her face with her hands.
"Don't tell him mama!" She told you.
"I'm not gonna tell him." You laughed.
"Phew!" She sighed.
"You can have your little crush, but no kissing any boys at all." You told her.
"Yeah not until you're 30!" Jalen added as he walked by.
"So I can kiss him when I'm 30?" She asked peeking through her fingers.
"No! You can't kiss DeVonta at all." You laughed.
"Okay." She sighed sadly.
You rolled your eyes playfully as you looked up at your boys playing baseball.
"I love you mommy." Your daughter smiled up at you.
You gave her an odd look at the randomness of it but still gave her a cheeky smile.
"I love you too baby." You booped her nose.
"Me too, even though you're annoying." Y/s/n spoke up from in front of you two.
"I'm not annoying!" Y/d/n started.
You sighed as you watched them argue back and forth, you got up walking away letting them argue it out.

"You're a good mom." Jalen spoke as he wrapped his arms around your waist from behind.
"You're an even better dad." You told him.
"Only because you came into my life." He whispered.
A smile crept up onto your face as you smiled recollecting all the memories you'd made with Jalen before you'd had two kids and the ones you made after.
"You changed my life for the better." He pressed a kiss to your neck.
"And you saved my life." You told him as you spun around to face him.
"I'd do it all over again." He smiled pressing a kiss to your lips.
"All of it?" You questioned.
"All of it, because I love you." He kissed your forehead.
"Forever." He added.
You smiled.
"Always."
