𝗪𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀, a supernatural creature that has roamed the earth for thousands of years. A myth was what they were, a stupid little myth that little kids around the globe thought was true. If only those kids knew they had been right all along. Werewolves, the mix of a wolf and a human, did exist and they existed right in the middle of California. For years, werewolves have been around in the middle of California, roaming around. They were hidden in plain sight, but if you knew what they looked like, it was pretty easy to find one. Yet for years, Maeve Barlow and her friend group have struggled to find those like them. They knew about the Briggs twins and how they were like them them, but they had never found an adult like them. Well they had their parents, but they didn't transition between wolf and human anymore. Something about needing to protect themselves from predators. Maeve didn't believe that's the reason they didn't change anymore, but she knew they were right. Wolves had been pray for years, and if word got out that werewolves existed, their lives would change forever.
When a wildfire burns most of the land in Southern California, it's up to Maeve and her pack to find out who's hunting those around them and to find out truly whats happening in their small town. All while trying to survive high school and protect her secret, two secrets that could truly change her life forever.
