AGAIN! This is not a real part of the story! I just chose to write the sequel to the movie because it was of high demand by many P1ECEs so here you go!

This is in 1st person perspective. I'll let you guys figure out who's perspective it is by hints throughout the series. Keep in mind that this is a jump to when all the boys meet in the future.

We led normal lives. Normal lives in a normal world. A normal world where we weren't fighting to survive. This was a place where we truly felt safe at home, at ease. I question all the time why this Alcor Virus came out. How did our lives become similar to a horror-survival movie?

We were all young when this started, especially Jongseob. The kid's been struggling so much since the death of his sister that I've heard him cry himself to sleep a few nights here and there. There's no way I could relate because I'm not even sure about my own family. It's the same with the others. None of us have seen our families since this outbreak.

[FLASHBACK TO THE PAST]

I was with my family. It was an ordinary morning on a Wednesday. Dad was watching the news and mom was in the kitchen making breakfast. I had just woken up. I didn't have any activities today so I chose to stay home. I was an artist. I had a lot that I'd done for my own entertainment. I was in the process of making a large piece for the hallway by my parents request. I ate and then disappeared into my room to continue on the piece that was halfway done.

For some reason my parents always protected me from the dangers of the outside world. I didn't understand why. Whenever I would ask about it, they'd find a way to avoid answering the question. At first I didn't get it, but I understand now. I was different.

I wasn't like other kids my age. I didn't cry when I got hurt, I wouldn't even flinch. It was almost like there was nothing that would have any effect on me, whether it was pain or not. Of course, I felt the pain, but it wasn't as bad as people would describe it.

[END OF FLASHBACK]

Someone called my name from the other side of the building. I proceeded to get up to where the voice had called me. "Yes?" I finally replied. It was Jongseob who called me.

"I found something I wanted to show you." He told me and led me to what he wanted to show me. It was a burst of color in the night sky. Aurora Australis. Better known as the Southern Lights.

"The Southern Lights.." I trailed off, watching the colors shift and sway is their seemingly perfect pattern.

I hadn't seen the Lights since I had to run from home. I stood next to the younger yet taller boy as he put his hand on my shoulder. "You haven't seen them in a while, hyung?" He questioned.

I shook my head. "I used to see them all the time in the summer back home. I had really nice pictures of them too. Especially the Northern Lights. The south always had my heart however."

We watched quietly. Suddenly I felt another hand on my other shoulder. Jiung.

I slowly sat down on the ground to watch the lights just like I had done in the past.

[FLASHBACK]

I was sitting outside with my parents in the backyard. I had my camera with me, we were hoping to see the Southern Lights. Luckily, we did. I got some really nice pictures of the lights too. The lights were always going to be better to watch in real life rather than in photography. It was one of the many beauties in life to watch. I loved it so much.

[END OF FLASHBACK]

I hugged my knees as all the memories came through. I missed home severely, but I knew that there was never going to be a place to call home. At least that was as long as this virus was still in effect. Maybe we'd be running for the rest of our lives. How long can we do this for? Where will we end up? I just wanna go back home...

"Hey, you okay?" Theo asked as he sat down next to me.

I shook my head. "I keep questioning how long we can do this for and where we'll end up. I wanna go home again. There's no way for us to go back, is there?"

The older looked down and shook his head. It was clear that he questioned the same things and hoped that someday everything would go back to normal. I sighed. Theo continued.

"I don't think that time travelling would work for long. We'd have to find a way to change the course of the current future first before going back in time. Even then how well would changing the future's course work? We'd never know until we lived through it at least once."

Theo was always rational and thought through in every situation. I wished I could think through like that. He clearly had a path he was set on for a future career if this entire virus hadn't started. Whatever he wanted to do would've come and done him well. Theo is a very calm and relaxed person. He knows how to deal with situations of panic quite well. It's like he doesn't freak out easily.

"I want to go home too, but the chances are low. Hopefully they'll get higher as we go on. But we never know." He added onto what he was saying earlier. All I could do was nod.

[FLASHBACK]

I was walking around with my friends, we had just spent the day at the arcade. We were going to get ice cream and head to the beach after. It was another normal day. We were laughing while walking to the ice cream parlor.

[END OF FLASHBACK]

Theo pulled me up from the ground and quickly escorted me, Jiung, and Jongseob inside. I was dazed and confused about the sudden action. Then I heard them. The drones carrying Alcor were close, a little too close for comfort. The building became silent in a matter of seconds as the drones flew around and inside the building. This wasn't the first time this happened, but the fear never changed.

I shut my eyes tightly, hoping that I'd be able to go back into the flashback from earlier. And successfully, I did.

[FLASHBACK]

I waited for the others to catch up to me since I ran ahead. I looked back and they weren't there. "Hey stop joking around!" I shout out. No response. I walked towards where I last saw them, I couldn't find them. "Come on this isn't funny! Come out!" I shout again. I heard them laugh this time. I saw them outside the parlor. "That's not funny!" I ran back to them. They continued to laugh. An hour or so later we went to the beach. I chose to sit on one of the tanning chairs while they went into the water.

This was the last time we were able to be free before Alcor became an outbreak. We promised each other that if anything happened, we'd stay together. Upsettingly that didn't last long. A few ran off when the first wave of drones came. Me and those who stayed ran in silence as the waves of drones kept coming. Eventually I was the only one to survive. This was an experience that should've never happened. I didn't want this to be the way I had to remember my only friends.

[END OF FLASHBACK]

Jiung shook my shoulder. When I looked at him, he pointed at my feet. Theo and Jiung shot down a drone and it happened to fall at my feet. I slowly picked up the drone and examined it. I found a note attached to it. I took the note and read it.

It was directed at me specifically. I read the note while whispering, since I wasn't sure if there were other drones around. "We need your help. We survived, but we're trapped in the building where the drones are controlled. We hope that this gets to you because we're being forced to design the virus pins. Please, help."

Jongseob looked at me. "Is this directed at you?" I nodded.

"They're alive and need our help. I have learnt more about the drones in 5 minutes, than we have in the past few years." I stated.
