'Riiiiiiiiiig' The alarm went off waking Luna up "Oh my God!! I'm late!" Luna panicked jumping out of her bed, she stared at the clock that said 7:30am, she was suppose to resume work at 8am and she slept in on her first day. She rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower, she brushed her teeth, didn't bother to wash her waist length hair. Luna put on a black knee length skirt and a white shirt to match, the clothes were from cheap market, she couldn't afford one with good quality, she put on the black kitten heel Iyana,her friend gave to her, her hair was packed in a messy bun, she quickly took her bag and dash out, the time on her phone says 7:45 am, the time bus must be ready to leave. Luna ran like a maniac and jumped in the moving bus that was tightly occupied, she squeeze herself in the sweaty people, just then her phone rang. The Infinix hot 5 was a gift from Iyana on Luna's graduation "hey babe" Luna greeted "don't tell me you are late!!" Iyana scolded on the phone "I swear, I didn't know how I slept pass the 6:30 alarm" Luna replied with an apologetic voice "I should have come to pick you up" Iyana said regretful "come on babe,I'm not a kid" Luna consoled "have you eaten?" Iyana asked "didn't have time for that, got to go!" Luna replied then hung up when the bus stopped, she hurried out of the bus and stood in front of a skyscraper. The Xian cooperation , Luna was lucky to have landed a job there and most importantly as a secretary, she got sacked at her formal workplace, a restaurant, when she beat up a guy who hit her butt. She later regretted it after she was sacked because she has lot of expenses like paying her student loan, her rent and taking her Little brother out of the orphanage. The workers and everyone in the building stare at Luna like she was a maniac running like that, she ran into an elevator before it closed and got off at the 7th floor, she was greeted by April, the CFO secretary. "isn't it unprofessional to be late on your first day!" April scolded "sorry April , I was so excited last night and slept late" Luna apologized and April smiled , "thank your stars, Mr Xian was late this morning" April said smiling "Mr Xian ?" Luna asked confused "is Mr Donna not my boss" Luna asked, April guided her to her office which was a big desk situated right outside the CEO office "No silly, Mr Donna is the CFO, You are working for the CEO, he recently fired his secretary because she spilled coffee on him" April replied "isn't it too much to fire her" Luna sneered but she was one side happy, at least she got the job.
Luna sat behind her desk staring at the pile of work in horror after April left 'didn't the ex secretary do any work!'she cursed in her heart, she peered at the CEO office but found no one there, she sighed then started arranging the world.
Later when the CEO came, Luna was too engrossed in her work to notice the Handsome tall man with blonde hair and green eyes striding towards her "Bring me coffee" a husky voice said startling Luna "hun" Luna asked but the man already disappeared into the CEO office 'hey that's rude' Luna yelled in her mind .
Luna entered the CEO office, she shivered at the cold atmosphere 'what's degree is the AC,is he planning to freeze to death' Luna thought, she walked toward the desk, no one was there, she was starting to wonder if she saw a ghost "have you ever heard the word Knock" a husky voice said rudely with annoyance, Luna jumped in fright, luckily didn't spill the coffee. She turned to glare at the man but the power was suddenly conquered. The blonde hair and green eyed boss got Luna frozen , she has never saw someone as handsome as he 'maybe Justin Bieber' This man was a geek god, Luna felt she has found her alpha "are you done drooling" Mr Xian irritated voice brought her back to reality "I wasn't drooling" Luna defended 'I was just appreciating the work of God' she thought "your coffee sir" Luna said then gave him the coffee, Mr Xian took it without giving Luna a second glance, his phone rang and he picked it "what" His cold voice said, Luna couldn't hear what the other line was saying but she couldn't help shivered at his voice 'chill men did you swallow an ice island' Luna thought. Mr Xian ended the call and Luna made to Leave "what the fuck is this!!" He yelled angrily glaring daggers at Luna, he threw the coffee cup on the floor the glass shattered "sir...." Luna stuttered, she was mad! Yes his voice scare her but she hate it when people are rude and he was rude by throwing the coffee she use her time to make but she held her tongue "what the hell was that!" He asked again, more mad at her silent replied "coffee.." Luna replied "sorry I didn't know it was coffee" Mr Xian said sarcastically , Luna didn't know what she did wrong "don't you like sugar ? did I add enough sugar" she asked. Even though he was angry, No emotion showed on Mr Xian face all this while but Luna could see his green eyes was tired "I want a black coffee" he replied then ignored her. When Luna left, Mr Xian couldn't help but think 'first I got whores now what do I call this one' he thought, Xian Zihao noticed how Luna dressed. The women who worked for him would dressed immoral almost walking naked just to get his attention but Luna wasn't even dressed, she wore a cheap skirt and skirt, her hair was messy and her face was make-up free. He chuckled.
