Prologue

Description

Ashley was once loved by her own parents until she witnessed a tragedy that she shouldn't have saw. She believes that is how her parents ended up treating her as the pack mutt, abusing her as if they never wanted a second child never mind her being the twin to her loving caring sister. Little does she know the real truth as to why her parents treated her the way they did.

Chelsea is soon to be the Alpha of the Thistle Moon pack. She had loving parents, but they were killed by none other than the Rouge Blood Pack, the most power-hungry pack they are in their cluster of packs. She was only seven years of age when they were taken from her. When she turns eighteen, she will take over the title from her father's beta who temporarily took over because she was only a young child at that time.

What happens when Ashley and Chelsea finally meet in this twisted story about the one and only eclipse wolf?

Prologue

Playing hide and seek with my twin sister was the best thing ever for a little seven-year-old girl. Due to the pack being so big, they were so many great hiding spots, but we used to always stick close to our own house and never stray too far away.

Hiding behind a tree, I watched curiously with tiny giggles seeing Amber walking around trying to find me, looking under rocks, in-between flowers, and even in the bin at one point. The easiest places to hide she looked before suddenly I noticed she caught me "Found You!" She screamed pointing to me as I turned and quickly rushed off with her running behind to catch me.

Only, in the distance I heard grunts, and groans followed by screams. Being seven got me very curious as to what those noises were and who they were coming from, so I followed instead of running away because any normal seven-year-old would run away scared hearing those noises. It led me deeper into the woods and even knowing that it is forbidden for us to go so far out into the words I still went until I caught sight of my parents fighting a man and a woman and by their power, I can sense they are Alpha and Luna of a different pack.

Standing by a tree I watched in horror as father and that other Alpha shifted biting and attacking each other while my mother had that Luna pinned to a tree scratching at her, it was a terrifying sight to see. Suddenly the other Luna caught sight of me her eyes widening in horror "Child" She mumbled out the best she could, my mother turned to see me with a shocked look suddenly crossing her face until it turned to one of anger that I haven't seen before.

"Get out of here!" My mother screamed at me but while she is distracted by me that woman quickly pushed her away watching them start to fight each other, my mother no longer looking my way or even noticing I'm still there watching. I heard a howl, looked over, and saw one of the wolves where I do not know what one is my father right now, laying down with a broken paw whimpering and howling in pain as the other wolf stalked it. 

I was shaking watching the wolf leap biting the other in the neck hearing the loudest crack before seeing the now dead wolf turning back to the other Alpha that was here "No!" I turned to the woman my mother was fighting crying out in pain at the loss of her mate that my father just killed.

 My mother took her distraction to grab her and snap her neck without a second thought, my parents both were breathing heavily before my mother caught sight of me still there. My eyes widen as I quickly turned running away back to the house and seeing Amber sitting by the steps looking bored.

"Where did you go?" She asked as I rushed over taking her in a hug and crying into her "What's wrong?"

I never said anything to her, it was a terrifying sight and had scared me to keep silent.

Later, I found out that my parents succeeded in killing them both despite watching it happen, and I was greatly punished for traveling into the woods too far seeing something I shouldn't have. My first punishment was spending the night in the cold, cruel basement of the house we stay with no blanket or anything to sleep on. 

Then the years passed where it turned from being shouted at, to getting beaten up constantly for silly little things. I know deep down that day changed my life but the reasoning may be something else.
