Harry POV

"You ready?" Draco called from outside the portrait.

"Almost, give me a second!" I called in response.

Today is when everyone is leaving for Christmas vacation. I'm going to spend it with Draco and his mother. I finished packing and dragged my trunk down stairs. Draco ran to my side to help me.

"I can do it myself!" I pouted.

"Just because you defeated the Dark Lord, doesn't mean you don't need help sometimes." He smirked, kissing my forehead.

Then he proceeded to cast Wingardium Leviosa on both of our trunks, and we were on our way to the train.

Once we got there, we started looking for an empty compartment. We finally found one at the back of the train. We put our trunks away and sat down, and soon enough, Ron, Hermione, Pansy, and Blaise found us. But all they did was say 'hello,' and leave. I don't really mind. More private time with Draco.

I don't remember too much of the trip. I think I was asleep for a lot of it. I do remember cuddling with Draco, we were laying down on the seat, with me on top of his chest. Draco was the pillow and I was the blanket. Maybe that's when I fell asleep.

I woke up to Draco sitting up, playing with my hair. I looked up at him from my spot on his lap and he smiled guiltily. I returned a smile and sat up with him.

"Have a nice nap?" He asked sheepishly.

"You know what? It was very nice, I think I'll continue." I smirked.

"Please don't. I need someone to talk to."

"Fine, fine."

We had a good chat for a while, and eventually, it came that time when we arrived at Platform 9 & 3/4. We grabbed our trunks, then soon found Mrs. Malfoy and we apparated back to the Manor. As soon as we got there, we put our trunks into Draco's bedroom and went back downstairs to the kitchen where Mrs. Malfoy called us down to eat. We all chatted happily the whole meal, talking about our year so far, and Draco and I explaing in full detail how our love story came to be.

"Oh that's wonderful! I always wondered when the two of you would finally get together. I never mentioned it to anyone besides Lucius. I was about to send you letter myself to ask you about it, Draco. But then you sent me a letter informing me of the great news." Mrs. Malfoy answered after we finished.

"That's- wait, what?" Draco cut himself off.

"I apologize. Perhaps I should explain." She thought for a moment before continuing. "It was quite clear from the very first letter you sent me from Hogwarts in first year, complaining about how Harry refused your friendship. 'Stupid Potter, with his wonderful scar and his wonderful laugh and beautiful emerald green eyes someone could get lost in all day.' Does that sound familiar?"

"Aww, Draco! How sweet." I turned to him, smirking at the sight of his bright red face from embarrassment.

"I never said that!" He protested.

"Oh, but you did. Would you like me to pull out the letters? I have them saved."

"We would love to look at them, Mrs. Malfoy. We were actually talking about looking at them after getting your letter of approval." I turned to Draco again, this time he was even more red.

"Please, call me Narcissa, Harry. Now, let me go get the letters." She walked down the hallway to a room I assumed was either a storage room or her bedroom.

"I knew that you talked about me in your letters, but I never knew you said things like THAT about me." I kissed his cheek.

"How else was I supposed to talk about you? I was in denial." He kissed my forehead.

"Based on how treated me, I would have assumed 'terribly' as a good answer." I grabbed his hand from under the table.

"Nonsense, I would never." He rolled his eyes playfully.

Narcissa soon came out of the room with a medium-sized box and set it down infront of us on the table. She pulled out a letter and read it aloud.

"Dear mother, I am writing to you from this outragous place. I can't believe this. Father gave me ONE task, and I failed. Potter refused to be my friend! And he even INSULTED me! I just wanted to be his friend. But maybe it's because I said something 'offensive' to a Weasley. But, it wasn't MY fault. Father told me to ALWAYS insult a Weasley, for they are not our friends. I really hate it here. I want to come back to the Manor. Stupid Potter, with his wonderful scar and his wonderful laugh and his beautiful green eyes someone could get lost in all day. You aren't going to leave me here, are you? I can't stand the humilitation. Your miserable son, Draco Malfoy." She smiled at the end.

"Hey, you even had that one sentence word-for-word Mrs. Mal- Narcissa." I looked up at her, then we started going through the box. Every single letter had me invovled in it. Narcissa claimed that this was EVERY letter that Draco had ever sent home, but Draco himself wasn't so sure.

By the time we were finished looking through all the letters, (Draco denied writing most of them, because he found them embarrassing. I thought they were cute, though.) It was 11:00. Narcissa told us to go and get some (actual) sleep. Draco led me back up to his room, and got ready for bed. We both lay down on his bed. I laid on my side, facing away from him. He took this chance to give me a few kisses to my neck, then he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. He fell asleep, soon enough. But for some reason, I couldn't. I suspected it was probably because I slept too much during the day. After about an hour, the door slowly opened. It was Narcissa. Her face suddenly filled with worry when she saw me.

"I'm sorry," She muttered quietly. "I didn't mean to wake you."

"No worries. I wasn't asleep anyway."

"I figured. That's why I came to check. Though, based on what Draco says about you-"

"You thought it would be the other way around? With me being asleep while he is wide awake?"

"Exactly. Now, are you okay? Is something bothering you? Is it that the Manor brings back terribe memories?"

"Actually, I'm not sure what it is. I just can't sleep."

"You certainly look comfortable though." She smiled slightly.

I looked down at the hand around my waist. "I certainly am."

"Let me know if you need anything, okay?"

"If Draco will let me move, I will."

She let out a small chuckle. "Good night."

She closed the door, and I couldn't help but smile to myself.

These are going to be a great 2 weeks.
