I never liked apples:
They're too sweet
For my taste.I much prefer oranges
With their zest
And their sting.I'll even take kiwis:
Acidic,
Exotic.But apples
Just bore me.I'm not Eve or Adam
I don't care to know;I'm not scared of doctors,
Don't care for a cure.I don't trust too easy
Like Snow White once did,So what lesson do apples
Have in store for me?
