The adventures of Finn and Fionna

Finn's POV

"Come on, Jake! If we don't hurry, there's no telling what the Ice king will do!", I said. PB had called us in to her lab earlier today, telling us about a strange energy signal she was getting from the Ice Kingdom. She said that he could be making something really evil, and that we would need to be very careful.

"I'm going, but I keep slipping", said Jake. It was the middle of winter, making it much colder than it would have been otherwise. So cold, that all of the saltwater lakes had frozen over. Right now, jake was fifty times his size, walking across the Ice kingdom, and I was sitting on his head.

Soon, the Ice King's fortress came over the horizon, but there was something strange about it. Coming from the door/window on the front, were flashes of light, lasting no more than a few seconds each.

"What do you think's happening?" I asked Jake, as we approached the fortress.

"I don't know man, but it looks evil!", he replied.

"Yeah, we better go in there, and kick his icy butt!" I said back.

"Ok", he said, shrinking back down to size as we landed on the platform outside the window. I pulled out my demon-blood sword, and jumped through the window. Waving the sword around, I yelled,

"Ice King!" He was sitting in the back of the room, working on a giant machine. He had a back panel open, and was welding some things together. When he heard me, he pulled off his welding mask, and looked at Jake and I.

"Oh, hey guys. Hows it going?", he said calmly.

"Don't play games, Ice king!" I yelled. "We know you're doing something evil!" He was shocked by my accusation.

"Evil?! This machine isn't evil!", he said defensively.

"Oh yeah?", said Jake ,"What does it do?!" He sighed sadly, and began his explanation.

"Well, here in the Ice kingdom, I'm very lonely. All I have is Gunter, and he doesn't even talk. I've tried over and over again to find a princess that loves me, but they all run away... But no more! I have made a device that will bring me a queen!"

"You're crazy, Ice king! There aren't any queens in Ooo!"

"That is where the machine comes in!" he said. "I'm not looking for a queen from Ooo, I'm looking for one from Aaa!" Aaa? What was Aaa?

"What the math is Aaa?", I said, pointing my sword at him.

"You don't remember?" he said. He reached into his pocket, and pulled out a small, light-blue book. He tossed it to me, and said, "Maybe this will refresh your memory!" I picked it up, and looked on the cover. In fancy, gold letters, it said The adventures of Fionna and Cake.

"You're crazy! This is just your creep fanfic of us!", said Jake. I threw that book back at him. He walked over to where it had landed, and picked it up. Without saying a word, he closed the panel that he was working on, and opened a different hatch. He put the book in, and closed the hatch. He looked back at us, and said,

"Get ready, Human, there's going to be a new Ice ruler in town."

"No!" I yelled and ran at him. For the fate of Ooo, I needed to stop him. I nearly reached him, but he blasted me with an ice-bolt. With my feet frozen, I watched him pull the switch, just out of the reach of my sword...
