Chapter 4 - Just Why

I felt my heart beat faster. he watched me perform and I had no idea. Why am I feeling this it's not like I care about what he likes right? I left him on read confused by my thought and what I should say next. I went back on to our chat and quickly replied with thanks and put my phone down. I was exhausted from today and just needed to go to bed. Which I did.

Masons pov (Competition day)

I got up ready for the day and put on a jersey to support my mate who cheered for a well know team. I quickly put gel in my hair and was out the door. My sister Brooke was coming to support her boyfriend's sister who I had no idea what her name was or what she looked like. I sat in the bleachers and quickly scrolled through Instagram. I came across Mila's page and saw that she was competing in a competition but didn't think much of it since I guessed she lived pretty far away. There were amazing routines that I felt like I could watch for hours. The tricks and techniques they used were incredible. My mate's team came on and I started cheering loudly to support them. They were doing their routine until someone caught my eye. She was gorgeous and the way her hair flew when she did her tricks replayed in my head. I then realized that I did know her and as soon as I did I went red. Mila Ramiez the girl that got the wrong number the one that fell asleep on a call with me. My sister pointed her out but I wasn't listening to any of the words as I was too focused on Mila. A big stunt was coming up and I was super nervous as Mila was the one doing it. I sat on the edge of my seat hoping that nothing would happen to her. As soon as she landed in her teammate's arms I felt an instant relief she was alright.

Once I got home I realized something holy shit. If I have Mila's number I should probably add her to the group chat. I quickly got my phone and added her.
