Y/N's POV
I was at the creek playing by myself since my friends Craig, jp, and Kelsey went home early I sat down on a rock near the water and leaned back taking in the cool air.
💧 Drip drip drip 💧
A couple rain drops fell on my face waking me up from my peaceful rest, I figured I should run home before it comes down even harder but I was so deep in the forest I barely made it half way before the rain caught up with me and drenched me roaring a storm.
                             BANG 🌩️ CRASH
I fall to my knees beside a tree, mud and water soaking my legs and knees. I curl up into a ball bringing my knees to my chest as I cover my ears with my hands. I normally don't mind thunder but stuck in the middle of a forest soaked with rain had a terrifying feeling as once more the thunder came down shaking the ground. My eyes began to form tears as i pleaded to be saved from this nightmare, I felt the rain no longer dripping on my head and I look up tears running down my cheeks. My prayer had been answered and there standing before me was Jackie also known as "the arm" one of the champions from what use to be the other side of the creek. I let my self finally calm down and pulled my self up hugging him tightly, he stands there in shock for a moment and quickly snaps out of it pulling me away signing
" are you ok your face seems red!" You can see the worry in his face and the wrinkles as he furrows his eyebrows but as soon as he finishes his sentence I feel my vision blur and my legs weaken. I fall back but Jackie catches me trying not to drop the umbrella. I pass out.

Jackie's POV
I found this boy sitting on the wet grass as it poured endlessly around him I sprint over tilting my umbrella down so it would cover him. I was out here on a walk since I liked to feel the vibration of the thunder crashing but I never thought I'd find a boy crying. He looks up at his eyes were irritated making them a light pinkish red but he had a look of relieve in his eyes before I could sign anything he lunges forward hugging me tightly, I let out a small gasp and feel my face brighten but I get awoken by reality when I realize how hot his body feels pressed up against mine I quickly pull back signing if he's ok but before I can finish I notice he's leaning backwards and letting all his weight go he starts falling. I quickly catch him before he can hit the ground and realized he's passed out. I panic and can't figure out what to do.
*Timeskip*
In the end I carried him home and now he's resting in my bed taking deep breaths, I touch his hand feeling how soft his skin is and noticing how pink his lips are and how cute of a face he has
"WHAT AM I THINKING?! THIS BOY IS PASSED OUT IN MY BED AND THIS IS WHAT COMES TO MIND?? GET YOURSELF TOGETHER JACKIE!!" I quickly yell at myself in my head standing up covering my face. I turn back around and see the boy is finally waking up as he fights to open his eyes taking a quick scan around the room before sitting up and cover himself as he makes eye contact with me. Although I can't hear him Im sure he's frightened and confused
"hey I'm not sure if you understand me but you passed out and I brought you here, there's no need to worry"  I quickly signed trying to explain myself. He tilts his head nodding after I finish and signs back saying
"now I remember thank you so much! But..who changed my clothes?" He asked blushing trying to hide his face
"yeah I'm sorry that was me..I promise I didn't look! It's just you would catch a cold sleeping in wet clothes, and I can't imagine it's comfortable" i sign trying to explain myself from the sticky situation i put myself in

Y/N's POV
"I woke up inside Jackie's bed! And he had changed my clothes!!?. I think I'm gonna pass out again" I internally think feeling the room getting unbearably hot.
"Oh yeah, what's your name?"  Jackie signs, tilting his head off to the side
"Im Y/N! Im friends with Craig, JP and Kelsey, and your "the arm" right? One of the champions?" I sign smiling, of course I knew who he was
"That's me! But please call me Jackie. So what were you doing out there? And do you need to call your Parents to let them know where your at?" He asks walking over to his bed side table grabbing my phone that I assume was inside my pocket. My face quickly blanks and I grab my phone quickly
"I almost forgot! My mom doesn't know I'm here" I yelp and thankfully Jackie can read my lips so he knows I quickly need to make a call.

               📞 RING RING RING RING📞
"Y/N??" Yells my mom over the phone "where on earth are you?!!"
"I'm so sorry mama I'm safe and at a friend from the creeks house, can I wait here until the rain calms down and then head home?" I whisper hoping she's not to mad at me for disappearing for almost an hour
"..ok fine. But send me your location and make sure your phone is charged" she sighs, I always ended up in dumb situations so she was use to this
"Don't worry I will ma! I love you!" I say with a cutesy voice and some kisses
"I love you to, be a good boy and call me if you need a ride" she says with that sweet loving tone I knew all my life<3.

"Hey so sorry about that Jackie! Is it ok if I stay until the rain calms down?" I sign making a nervous face.
"Of course! It's nice to have someone new!" He signs smiling as he stands up, he grabs a cup of water holding it out for me to drink.
"Thank you!" I sign and then taking a sip of the water as I feel the bed move around me I put the cup down looking up and see Jackie inches away from my face as he holds his hand out
"Huh.." I say closing my eyes
"Could it be that he's kissing me?!?! Omg omg Omg but why?!?" I think feeling my heart race. I feel his warm hand on my forehead as he's checking my temperature.
"Okie! Doesn't seem like you have to much of a fever" he signs backing up and smiling.
"Ofc he wasn't gonna kiss you idiot!!!!" I think lecturing myself for thinking sure intrusive thoughts. I stand up trying to place the cup on the bedside table but I think I got a little confident in myself far to quick as I feel my legs not wanting to support my weight at all.
"Oop-" I say as i try bracing for impact against then floor but instead I feel big warm hands around me.
I look up to see Jackie with panic in his eyes looking at me as I notice he was practically hugging me so I didn't fall.
