Chapter 11
**Aubrey’s POV**
I wrapped my arms around Jayden’s neck and pulled myself closer to him. We were getting soaked by the buckets of February water coming from the sky, but it was totally worth it. Ahh, kissing in the rain. The most romantic thing ever.
We were kissing so sweetly and it was perfect. I wish I could preserve this moment in a bottle. But my hormones started to act up and I wanted more. I wove my fingers into Jayden’s hair and licked his bottom lip. He let me in eagerly and our tongues tangoed.
Jayden tightened his arms around my waist and pulled me to his body even more closely if that was even possible. I let out a small moan in both pain and pleasure and I pulled away. Jayden looked down at me and smiled with pure love in his eyes. But the sides of his mouth turned down when he realized what he heard.
“Are you okay, Aubrey? Did I hurt you? I so sorry,” Jayden panicked.
“No, no. It wasn’t you. My back just hurts a little,” I reassured him. In my head, I scowled. The pain that ass caused me last week was coming back to my back.
“If you say so. Are you okay?” He looked worried.
“Yeah, now that you’re with me,” I said truthfully while giving him a playful flirty smile.
He grinned widely and slung an arm over my shoulder. “C’mon, beautiful, let’s talk more inside.”
We went inside and Jayden complimented my house. “Nice place you got in here.”
“Why thanks,” I said.
I walked into the living room with Jayden at my heels. I plopped down on the leather couch gently being careful not to hurt my back. Jayden sat close to me and I liked that a lot.
“So, Bree, I don’t know about you, but today is like the best day of my life,” he stated happily while looking deep into my eyes. Wow, it looked like he really meant that.
But he’s a player. I totally forgot. “Are you just playing me, Mr. Player Dude?” I scoffed teasingly. But the look on his face turned dead serious.
Jayden took my hands in his. “Aubrey Landon, I’ve never in my whole life felt this way about anyone the way I do about you. I think it was love at first sight.”
My mouth dropped open slightly, but I closed it. Did he just say…? Ohmygod.
I smirked at him. “Ya know, Jayden Lowe, I think I feel the same way about you.”
