Disclaimer: I don't own any of the bad batchers. I only own the characters I create for story purposes.
Ever since the destruction of Kamino, the bad batch hadn't really spoken much about it. Not that any of them ever liked Kamino. Omega especially didn't like Kamino since she lived on the system most of her life.
"Sarge?"
"What is it, Wrecker?"
"Do we have any rations?"
Rations made Omega's stomach growl. "It's been at least six hours since we ate a snack," she said.
"All right, chow time." Hunter grabbed the box of rations and handed each member a protein stick.
"Protein sticks?" Wrecker asked.
"It's either that or eat womp rats," Hunter said as he ate his stick.
"Ew...that sounds disgusting," Omega said as she stuck out her tongue and made a face.
"On second thought this will do..." Wrecker said as he ate his stick. "Wait a minute, why are we going to Corellia again? The last job we did went sideways."
"We need supplies, and we're to retrieve a package," Tech replied as he looked at the others. "Cid said her contact would meet us."
"Speaking of the contact," Hunter replied as he looked at Tech. "Did Cid give us any details?"
"No more than what she usually gives us," Tech replied as he prepared the ship to land.
The Maurader landed on Corellia City. Omega looked out the ship's window. "Think Cid's client is waiting by the docking bay?"
Hunter looked around. "It would help if we had some info on who we were meeting," he said as he sighed.
"According to Cid's brief description," Tech replied as he pulled out his data pad. "Cid said her client is a young female who is a little older than Omega."
"So she's a kid?" Wrecker asked as he looked at Hunter and Tech.
"Could be," Hunter replied as he knelt down on the platform and looked around. "I don't think we are alone out here."
"What's the plan?" Tech asked.
Hunter thought for a moment. "I think it's best for at least two of us go out and look around while two stay here with the ship. That way, we don't lose it." He looked at Wrecker and Omega. "Wrecker...Omega you two stay with the ship and Tech you come with me. If things go sideways, we'll contact you."
"Why do we have to sit out?"
"Because the last time we told you to keep watch over the ship, it got striped by jawas," Tech replied.
"We got it back...."
"That's enough. we need to get going," Hunter said as he motioned for Tech to follow him.
